1 σωλήνα 1-1\4 ίντσα 1,5 μέτρα για πάνω, κολλάμε τα αυτάκια για τις αλυσίδες 7 εκατοστά από στις άκρες
4 σωλήνες για πόδια 1 ίντσα 1,85 μέτρα με τρύπες στα 60 εκατοστά για να βιδώσουμε τους σωλήνες 15χ30 για να μαζεύει,
,4 σωλήνες 1.3 μέτρα 2 σωλήνες 0,4 μέτρα και 2 σωλήνες 0,50 μέτρα για κάθισμα και πλάτη με 8 γωνίες ,
2 σωλήνες 0,30 μέτρα 2 σωλήνες 0,20 μέτρα και 4 γωνίες στο πλάι για το χέρι θα κολλήσουμε τα γαντζακια για τις αλυσίδες
2 σωλήνες 15χ30 0,72 μέτρα με αυτάκι και 2 σωλήνες 15χ30 0,58 με τρύπες στην άκρη και στα 54 εκατοστά θα τα βιδώσουμε στα πόδια
4 αλυσίδες 105 εκατοστά που θα πιάνουν από το πλάι και 2 140 εκατοστά που θα πιάνουν από την πλάτη
4 τάπες πλαστικές 1-1-\4 ίντσες για τα πόδια
το ένα πόδι το κολλάμε σε λάμα στρόγγυλη 8 εκατοστά ακτίνα με μια τρύπα που θα βιδώσουμε το άλλο πόδι και στην λάμα από την μέσα πλευρά θα κολλήσουμε 10 εκατοστά σωλήνα 1 ίντσα για να μπαίνει στον πάνω σωλήνα και τρυπάμε μαζί τους σωλήνες για να βάλουμε μια βίδα

You will need :
- For the top frame : 1 pipe 1-1/4 inch diameter, 1.5 meters long. You'll need to weld the hinges for the chains on that pipe, about 7cm inwards from each end.
All other pipes are 1 inch diameter.
- For the legs : 4 pipes, 1.85m long, with holes at a hight of about 60cm for the folding mechanism.
- For the seat : 2 pipes, 1.3m long and another 2 pipes 40cm long, plus 4 90 degree elbows for the corners.
- For the backrest : 2 pipes, 1.3m long and another 2 pipes 50 cm long, plus 4 90 degree elbows for the corners.
- For the armrests : 4 pipes 20cm long, and 2 pipes 30 cm long. Plus 4 more elbows for their corners.
Each armrest will consist of : two pieces of 20 cm for the sides and one piece of 30cm for the top.
On these armrests we will weld the hooks for the chains.
- For the folding legs mechanism : 2 square pipes 15x30mm, 58cm long with holes on each side for the screws, and another 2 square pipes, 15x30mm, 72cm long with a groove in one side and a hole at the 54cm point. The groove will start at that 54cm point and it is used to rest on the other square pipe.
These square pieces will be used in pairs : one 72cm pipe and one 58cm pipe together.
NOTE : In all honesty, the folding mechanism can be made any way you like, I'm just giving a rough measurement and an outline of how it could be made.
4 chains, 1.05 m long for the side chains, plus 2 more chains 1.4m long to hold the back rest upright.
4 plastic covers for the legs (we don't want to scrach our floors, right?)
The leg folding hinge on top :
This will be a circular metal plate, about 8 cm diameter.
It will contain the lead that will be inserted inside the top pipe. This lead is actualy a piece of 1 inch pipe, (10cm long) welded verticaly on that plate. That lead is inserted in the top pipe, and secured with a simple hole and pin.
This plate will also serve as a base for the two legs. One leg is welded on there, and the other one is attached with a screw, so as to be able to rotate and fold.
By undoing the back chains, you can fold the backrest either to the back, to form a bed, or to the front on top of the seat.
Additionally, if you're gonna place your swing outdoors, you can add a canopy for sun protection, like this design...
