Thanks ....have you ever experienced or know why when I press the right brake lever it will sometimes turn the scooter off and then I have to quickly double click the same brake lever a few times for it to come back on. Do you have any idea what is causing this?
@scooterninja3479
@scooterninja3479 10 ай бұрын
I assume you don't mean the entire scooter turns off, because if that's the case then I have no idea. However, I did have an issue when I got the scooter where it had a faulty sensor in the brake lever, and when I would release the brake the scooter would think it's still pressed, which would not allow the throttle to work. I would have to repeatedly press the brake lever again or bounce the front wheel to get it to fix itself. You know you have this issue if the display shows a little "!" at the top when the problem occurs. If this happens, you will need to replace your brake lever. That's how I fixed mine

Thank you, this is the best tutorial I have seen. I am new Kaabo WW+ owner. I have the acceleration set to 5 (least power), max torque, dual motors, eco on. I do least power because I feel like its going to go out from under me when I first start off. Is that torque or power? Gear 2 and 3 feel the same to me. What do the gear ( 1-3 ) setting do? Right now I have it on 3. Lastly, around 33 mph my front wobbles, which is exactly what I thought I would avoid getting the Wolf. Do you think this is just newbie jitters, or do you find the same thing? I have backed off each time it happens, I have ridden it about 5 times.
@scooterninja3479
@scooterninja3479 3 жыл бұрын
Gear 2 and 3 does feel very similar in terms of acceleration, but you will notice that in gear 2 (eco) the scooter will not go faster than 35ish mph. Gear 3 eco will get you to about 40. I'm actually not sure about the difference between torque and power, but I think it's considered to be power on an electric scooter. The front wobbling might just be newbie jitters, I remember my first few rides were very jittery. Now I usually cruise between 30-45 mph and I think the scooter is extremely stable. Give it a few more rides and see if you notice anything different in terms of how the ride feels
@johnc3436
@johnc3436 3 жыл бұрын
@@scooterninja3479 Thanks a lot for the response. I think the speeds are just a limiter. I found I had the torque on highest setting, which isn't good for dead start (IMO). It would be ideal if you got the torque just when you punched it. On the wobble - its kind of funny. I have another scooter - a Cycle board - completely different and very stable. Riding the same stretch of road I felt a wobble - the road looked smooth, but wasn't in this one spot. So, since I was always doing the speed testing on same stretch - at full throttle I would hit the same spot at the same speed. I am far from an expert but I ride about 35-38 when road is flat after about 10 rides- so anyone reading this, it does not wobble, but takes getting used to. One last question - my back brake is not nearly as good as the front. I can apply the brake and still push the scooter with effort. Front brake it does not budge. Is yours like that? Thanks again.
@scooterninja3479
@scooterninja3479 3 жыл бұрын
@@johnc3436 Its likely that you need to replace the rear brake pads / bleed the brake line. Mine get like that too over time, I seem to be replacing the rear brake pads much more frequently than the front. I guess I just push the rear brake harder than the front. Do you know how to change the pads and bleed the hydraulic brake line?
@johnc3436
@johnc3436 3 жыл бұрын
@@scooterninja3479 Hi, The WW is almost brand new . So pads cant be worn out, they are not rubbing and I am not riding the brake. On the Cycleboard I have had to bleed the brakes twice and it has low mileage as well. The Cycleboard only has one large motor, so one rear brake. Second time I bled the brakes there was almost no air in the line - not sure what that means - does that mean there is definitely a leak and no air was sucked in to replace fluid? On WW I would expect the rear pad to wear out faster. This may be a dumb question - are you always using the front and back equally most times you stop? I always apply back first, then front as I don't want to end up flying over the stem.

I have never rode the eagle pro, but I know that the eagle is similar to the Mantis. The Mantis is better at rides with more curves and the wolf is more sturdy with high speed riding on more straight roads. If you're used to the acceleration of the wolf then don't get the eagle, it might leave you feeling dissapointed

Good overview of the settings. I just got the wolf king and took it out for a test run to get a feel for the mileage. The battery was depleted after some 60-65km but afterwards I can barely get 45km before the battery is depleted. Any advice on whats going on ?
@scooterninja3479
@scooterninja3479 3 жыл бұрын
That's a reasonable range for the Wolf. I don't usually get more than 30 miles on the wolf 11 which has a 35ah battery, and the king has a 28ah. The range estimates on dealer websites and affiliate sites like ESG are extremely exaggerated, they are done with tests on eco mode and with settings that work in their favor. Assuming the minimotor display settings are the same on both scooters, to get more range try changing the P9 setting to have less torque and try putting the P7 setting somewhere between 3 or 5. I keep mine on 5 to preserve battery. Let me know if this helps

Nice content but, I completely disagree with your assessment of the abs breaking system. It's level of comfort is subjective but, to say there's no use for it on a 110lb, 50mph vehicle is factually wrong and irresponsible. You're stopping distance and chances of locking up the wheels are cut in half. That's substantial and people should be aware of it.

That’s completely untrue. ABS is trash as it’s not true ABS like you’ll find on other vehicles. It’s not as safe nor is it as effective as electric braking. If you use ABS for a prolonged period of time you run the risk of blowing your hub motors. There’s nothing ‘irresponsible’ for choosing not to use it. I’ve yet to meet one experienced rider who actually uses it.
