With the amount of material that bonds the gear into the actuactor its no suprise they break all the time. We get at least one car a month or so with this failure and several that have had additional wear on the gearbox internals as a result when (i suspect) people have have continued to drive with it faulting instead of immediately bringing the vehicle in.

I get this code time to time and I figured to share it, yeah some people they just don’t have time to bring it in, they wait until it’s too late. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I watched the video twice and I still don’t know what this thing does?????

It took me awhile to before I learned what this thing does, so basically it’s a manual transmission with TCM “transmission control module” The TCM does command the clutch actuator when to shift the transmission, engineer built it to improved fuel efficiency. I hope this make sense. Thanks for watching.
