Hello sir, For getting the webelement Im using the below code in selenium: WebElement passwordtxt= driver. Find element(By.id(“passcontainer”)); passwordTxt.sendkeys(“text”); Im trying to sendkeys in the password text selenium webdriver is throwing the warning like : value of the local variable passwordTxt is not used. How to rectify this one?

Here you are entering the text into the textbox but why are you storing that into passwordtxt variable? you are creating this variable but in the next lines you are not using this variable. thats why it shows the error like that. Without storing into another variable also, you can directly enter the text buddy. Something like this: driver. Find element(By.id(“passcontainer”)); passwordTxt.sendkeys(“text”);
