I've got it! Thermal scopes should be DROP LOOT ONLY! But also, every drop should contain a COOL SUIT (AKA a Ghillie that is water-cooled) to prevent detection from Thermal scope users. Solved. Unfortunately, This COULD lead to end games with nothing but thermal-scoped water-cooled ghillie guys ratting around in the grass. BUT ALSO, this could force people to switch back to regular scopes so that they can actually SEE the Ghillie guys because the pixelated Thermal scope won't show them.

Chaff grenade is what Bob is talking about. Wouldn't be a bad idea, considering its just millions of heated particles disbursed in the air. The fix would be, the chaff grenade is worthless in daylight. That would mean more loot litter, and we all know how fun that is on hot drops...

They do have those types of smoke grenades, but they are only effective in no wind situations. And because you can do more effective things, like flares, or simply setting the terrain on fire! That is something they could do maybe, make the fires wash out the thermals in an area of effect radius. In this game though, I agree to just make smokes thermal deterrent as well. Most games are like that.

They could add a White Phosphorus Smoke grenade to counter it. WP nades IRL do work against thermals. Would be easy to implement IMO

The largest issue with the thermals is that the map enbironments arent factored whatsoever in the scope aa far as temperature reading. Theyd need to go over the map file in a way that goes to each terrain component and assign them a temp reading for both the nighttime and daytime variants of the map so that the thermals doesnt only pick up cars and bodies. If when players die their bodies remained in-map and produce heat for a time, thatd also help confuse thermals by thinking they see someone prone for a limited time. Lastly someone mentioned white phospherous smoke grenades working against thermals irl as well as cooled ghillies that help to hide your body reading would be 'cool'

They just need to let the jammer pack do 2 things. 1 Make it either limit the range the thermal can see you or make it so that you are just a fuzzy blob and can't determine a head easily 2 Make it block the bluechip scanner That way you can choose to defend against it and it's a trade off. Take a thermal and you are stuck with a 4x. Take a Jammer and you are stuck with a Level 2 bag

The we played yesterday was op… Thermal scope on AUG and an EMT gear. My team was shooting the enemy team, i sneaked up, threw some smokes around myself and waited for the enemy to run around, was shooting them from inside the smoke 😆 too op… killed like 3 full teams like that

With the thermal it helps against ratting in bushes but now you want to rat in a shack or ratting in a car would work

I think they should turn all 4x scopes into thermal capable scopes. 30 seconds of thermal with a 4 minute cooldown. Rest of the time it acts like a regular 4x. Probably make the 4x worth having.

Maybe they add another feature to the Jammer pack where it covers your heat signature. My initial Idea would be an EMP with a high AOE. Maybe make certain Armor sets anti-thermal.

The ghillie suits in the game are not realistic. You can make your own real IR resistant ghillie though. Get mylar material, Moreno wool fabric and open up the stitching on your BDU pants and jacket and glue/sew them back together with the mylar between the two. The front of your ghillie should be like a skid plate with pads in the knees, chest and elbows cause the ground is rough and cold. You don't want to make yourself bigger rather change your profle and blend in. Your always on the ground so you ghillie out your backside not the front is my point. So now your pants and jacket have IR protection, you then sew on para cord or a net or whatever so you can attach the jute and foliage to your new coldblooded gear.(need loops around your thumbs and heels so when you crawl forward and backwards your jacket and pants don't ride up). You use the same material you made to line the inside of your boonie hat keeping it long so it covers down on your shoulders and as a sniper veil for your gun. Boots are harder but same concept. Bummer is, it acts as a vapor barrier and you'll get hot and it will kinda show through when your hot in your pvs14 or whatever you got or don't got and have to hide from. But otherwise it significantly reduces your IR signature without out being a huge looking wookie. So your cold-blooded and ghosted IRL.

Instead of smoke they should introduce new type of clothing and armor that will block thermal. But only parts of body that are covered. + rare Ghillie that gives you full protection. Or just add mud to game and everybody will be running like Schwarzenegger in Predator movie 😄In real life it won't work, but as mentioned in the video, it's just a game and it doesn't have to be realistic.

Thermal helmet that drains with use like a jammer pack. Lvl 2 only would balance some and would also add to the R E A L I S M

Yes can we please get a way on most maps to get out bois back. Krakin is too small to do that on. But anyone I've tried getting into this game says the same thing. "The gun play battles are a blast. But I hate that if I die early I have to just watch my squad play for 20 min." Its not a fun aspect to a lot of people. Hard to keep a player base when you cant get new players into it.

I actually work for PUBG... our next addition is to combine the thermal scope and the binoculars. The thermal scope will auto-ping enemies. Does this surprise you?

"Its like they don't play their own game" it certainly is, Like adding bots to a game made famous for its pvp or increasing the size of Vikendi when there is no longer the player base to fill it. They could simply adjust the circle to the size of the lobby that you jump into out of the plane then play as normal, you could have fun games with 16 players then without sh!ting on the pubg experience like the bots are....

Why not have the flash bang do the job against thermals. Ie throw a flash bang that leaves a heat signature or blinds thermals for awhile.

The defense from thermals is mollys and gas cans. Not rocket surgery…

I wish they would stop trying and just fix the game breaking issues that habe been there since the beginning! In bf4, on metro, a lot of ppl were running Flir and IRNV but everyone else were carrying smokes and lasers to counter it. So why don't they just fix the smoke issue and call it a day!

Get rid of the thermal scope. I will just leave Vekindi every time. A 1-8 or 2-6 power battle rifle scope would be fine. Even a 1-3 variable scope with a clean sight picture would be amazing. How about a no flush mode for fun, or a headshot only mode, or a hardcore mode or a night mode with tracer rounds and light up armor that goes dark when shot and needs recharging so you can see. How about a map editor to make gun fights better by making destructible shutters and plywood like the wood doors. How about a rebuild the windows and doors. How about they get an imagination and stop ruining guns and over manipulating scenarios. How about a tree stand, and you can explode trees or cut them down with a machete. How about all the guns are good like prone except all the time and everyone has a level 4 vest and Mary Popping Hermione Granger bag that holds unlimited things. How about I can give away a my kills to my team for barter. How about I can give away things I buy. How about a trailer ramp that carries a car. How about armor plates that you can put on cars or windows. How about high jump mode. I could keep going.

Real Thermal can NOT see heat signature behind glass. For reals player! Does PubG allow the thermal to see through glass. Please test this... If they do, this is NOT realistic.

Thermal should not be in pubg. If it is put in then thermal must be as common as 6x scopes.
