It also gave you more empathy and compassion to those in the same boat, including clients. I'm also a CPA (started out in audit and now practicing other aspects of the profession). My upbringing conditioned me to believe that people reciprocate in kind when we are genuinely kind and have good intentions towards them. At the very least, they won't cause us harm...or so I thought. Mali pala yun. I learned the hard way that there are extremely ungrateful people who have refined the art of swindling others. Surrender is the key, un ang natutunanan ko s video na to. Parang the more na nilalabanan mo ung agos ng tubig mas mahihirapan ka. Mas mag-survive ka kapag naki-go with the flow ka sa agos. Easier said than done.

God is so gracious and giving! Yung iba diyan nagtataka kung bakit hindi dumarating sa buhay nila yung matagal na nilang hinihingi o pini-pray kay Lord. Siguro may dahilan. Siguro hindi pa sila ready tanggapin yung blesdings ni Lord. Meaning, meron itong kinalaman sa kanilang character. Meron kasing iba diyan, umangat lang ng konte, nagiging mapagmataas na kaagad!!! Maybe some people are not able to handle material blessings!!!, the Lord knows it, because the Lord sees the end from the beginning. Based on my experience, as a scam victim as well, it’s important to listen to your instinct. You will really feel that something’s not right, but I disregarded it that time because I don’t want to think bad to other people. I always give them the benefit of the doubt. But now, once I feel that something’s different, I listen to it most of the time.

Hi Marvin, I can relate to you. January 2020 to May 2020 na scam rin ako. I lost a total of 218,300 to Nigerian scammers. Still, God can restore everything. God bless you!

Marvin, na try ko din Yan. Yes, ang hirap tanggapin na na scam tayo. Tapos sa sarili natin ay ang tanga natin. But it is so normal na magtiwala at mabulag sa Pera. Tao Lang tayo Marvin. Pero ang Dios di natutulog. And now, you are doing great. Just be brave and be careful sa susunod.

You are still blessed Marvin kasi , the injustice you experience is just a thing ,sabi nga, if you never stopped working, you will earn it back. To add na din, you are still young and this experience will make you become a better person, maturity wise. I always heard there is no such thing as free lunch ( except perhaps if family) High yield return investment are too good to be true. Last time, dito sa amin, ang daming workers na scam nang emgoldex. Ang tapang pa nang mga video sa you tube, hindi daw sila scam but it ends up a scam. Greediness most of the time is the root.

You mentioned 2 things that everyone should take note: 1) It's too good to be true. 2) I got Greedy. When you think it's too good to be true, run away on the opposite direction fast and don't look back. I got Greedy, that means the devil is behind this feeling. But I'm glad that you shared this experience and you got over this bad nightmare. The Lord is always watching. Makakarma rin yong hayup nayan.

I can relate to the feeling that sometimes it can be very tiring and frustrating to find ways on how to solve your problems on your own yet it turns out that you just need to leave it all up to Him. I was scammed too,(networkingcompany) perohndi nmn kalakihan that was may hard earned money na inisip ko malakiang kikitain ko pagnag join me dto sa business n ito at yun maitulong ko s parents ko monthly earnings kono pero hndi ganun..illusions lng. Big lesson learned: hwag maging greedy sa pera. Be patient. Take your research first about those business, company, or that person fortheir background, legalities before you indulge it. I also got scammed. 350k. Sabay na sabay tayo. Before first lockdown. Life savings ko yun. Nakakaiyak talaga. Pero sobrang bait ng Diyos. I got it all back plus more. From 0 sa bank account to getting it all back in 5mos. Tapos nagkaron din ako ng high paying job. It was a roller coaster ride

Always remember, if an investment proposition is too good to be true, most likely, it is. To prevent being scammed, the cardinal rule is that you don't look at the personality or character of the person - especially at first meeting or second meeting - or getting impressed. The key is to know or recognize if the basic business fundamentals are present. Any of them being absent or missing, you can bet it's a perfect scam. Judging the integrity or honesty of a person takes time, knowledge and experience. Presence of the required fundamentals are much more important than the person's.

I think you were an instrument of God to have this bad experience in order to save hundreds or maybe thousand of people not to be scammed with this kind of modus operandi. But I really think you must report this kind of modus operandi of scamming to the NBI. They can easily catch this guy. You know exactly where the places where he brought you to do his scamming activity. You know the name of the hotel and the restaurant where he is doing his scamming activities. This guy can be easily trap and catch by the NBI.
