Cacao is a versatile crop that is considered high value due to its many uses. Philippine lands are highly compatible with cacao, so local farmers, like the Cacao Agroforestry Farmers Association (CAFA), in Eastern Samar have started prioritizing its growth to meet the high local and international demands.
