List of documents for residence permit for studies:
1. Personal documents
A. A passport size photograph, check the photo guidelines here: poliisi.fi/documents/25235045...
B. Photocopies of your passport’s main page as well as all other pages that contain notes.
C. If you are applying from a country other than your home country, submit a document that you are legally stayinig in a country where you submit the application. For example a visa
D. Copies of your educational certificates, work experience letters if you have and IELTS certificate if your university or college required it.
E. Relationship verification certificate with your sponsers ( they are usually your parents, grandparents or spouse).
2. Study related documents
A. Offer letter from the university, it is also called certificate of acceptance or letter of attendance, it the document that your university or college in Finland has sent to you after being selected.
B. If you are required to pay fees for your studies, you need to attach the receipt of the paid fees.

A. Your bank statement where you have at least a balance of 6720 euros
B. Your sponsor's bank account
C. Anual Income certificate
D. Property valuation certificate
E. Certificate of Tax clearance
F. Copies of the original Red Book, lalpurja
G. Translated copies of Lalpurja in English
H. Salary Slips, Work contract paper, work certificate - if the source of fund is salary
I. Business related documents - PAN number, sales reports or reports from the accountant
J. Rental agreements if income is from rent
K. Documents related to sale of land or property or business
L. Income from agricultural products - Paper from the municipality office stating annual income generated from agricultural products

Hi, no police certificate is necessary for residence permit but in your application you give your consent to Finnish immigration to get your records if necessary. About the medical certificate, it's not necessary for rp but some degree programmes/universities may ask you to provide with certain tests results or medical certificate, eg. cooking, social services. Your university will let you know, if it is required.

Hi, resignation letter is not necessary for applying student residence permit. You can still apply for a permit while you are still working. If you can, submit a work certificate, i.e. a document stating your job, starting date, ending date (if you have already left your job), major job duties and all.

Hlw maam, my sponsor save their saving in cooperatives in Nepal. However they have overal 15 lakh annual income. Therefore showing the statement of cooperative( Sahakari) and sending them abroad lets say dubai will be acceptable. Kindly help me out. Hope for your favourable reaponse.

Savings are fine, but you need to prove the source of that saving, that means how you earned that money, is it from your salary, is it from your business, did your parent's give it to you, if so how did they get that money. As simple as that! Your 6 months bank statements will show the money coming in and going out! Then you will need to show documents to prove where the money comes from.

You will need to first submit the application on Enter Finland. You will need to pay the fees and get the balance documents while applying.

If your father is your sponsor, you must attach documents explaining his financial situation and source of income. He can pay your fees. But the funds (6720 euros) that you bring to Finland for living cost must be in your own bank account.

@@saidharmesh4947 No, just transfer the money to your bank. Get a bank statement from both your and your father's account and take the bank statements with you to the embassy.

Hello Arafath, as long as you are coming to Finland for a university degree or a vocational degree, you can get a residence permit for studies and being the degree a part time one does not matter. That's what I understood. There is nothing mentioned in the website about it. You can check it in the link below. You can also contact Finnish immigration at migri@migri.fi to be sure about it. Gap vako le apply garna milchha, collegeko fees college ra subject anusar hunchha ranging from 4000 - 18000 euros per year, 6720 euros bank ma dekhaunu parchha for 1 year living cost, residence permit application charge 350-450 euros, and then rest your own expenses for shopping and travelling. Offer letter estai 2-3 months ma aauchha.

Hi, You have to apply for your residence permit as soon as possible. Pls check the details about funds and documents in this video itself. The money should be 6720euros for 1 year permit in addition to your tuition fees. It's very unlikely that you will get a permit by that date but apply as soon as possible and inform your university about it. Join my live session if you have more questions about this. Hi Idriss, great to have you as one of our subscribers. You said you've got an admission offer for spring. Do you mean your classes are going on now? When does your course begin? If you already have that admission or attendance letter, you can immediately apply for study residence permit in Finland. However, I am afraid if you get your residence permit in one month. But still apply as soon as possible if you meet requirements. The basic requirements are 1. admission or attendance letter given by your university in Finland 2. passport 3. passport size phot 4. receipt showing that the fees are paid ( if you need to pay fees) 5. documents related to funds (6720 euros). Check the video again for more detailed documentations. All the best!

If you already have admission letter from the university and you meet the requirements I mentioned in the previous comment, I advise you to immediately apply for the residence permit for Finland. Go to the Finnish mission in Cyprus. Then you can go back to your home country and wait for the visa there. As you visa in cyprus is expiring, it’s good to wait for your Finnish rp in your own home country.

I would like to share my personal experience and request you to include in one of your videos, for the benefit of students. My son got admitted to one of the universities in Finland and we prepared application online. The offer of admission stated that studies begin on a particular date. The online application also asked for studies begin date. We entered the date given in the offer of admission and attached it as a proof. Unfortunately, the residence permit was granted from the same date, where as the student should land in Finland at least a day before, to begin studies on the specified date. So the applicant who is filling up Enter Finland should see that he enters study begin date at least one week before the date specified in offer of admission. ENTER Finland SOFTWARE DOESN'T CONSIDER THE APPLICANT'S TRAVEL TIME REQUIREMENTS BEFORE THE STUDY BEGIN DATE. Person generating the application MUST be careful to include travel time requirements.

After your reply, I checked up with the application in EnterFinland. The question comes up as a vague one. It askes: Are you applying for a period of time that is different from the duration of your studies? Y/N. Anyone will tend to say No. If we say No, further questions are not visible. There's the catch. If we say Yes, it is asking for RP to be valid from other dates. The question should have been: When do you want to arrive at Finland? Instead, they ask a lengthy confusing question. I request you to make applicants be aware of it and answer correctly so that they gain entry appropriately.
