Also, great video. You are all incredible. Thank you, Pablo, for making these videos. I feel like you talk about things people usually don't talk about and people get this idea that these great musicians are just born and they don't think that yes, they (you :D) are talented but you also put quite a bit of time into practicing, into immersing completely with your mind and body into it. In the end it all comes down to great dedication and hard, persistant work and of course passion/love for what you're doing because without it I don't think you can get very far.

Thank you so much for making this series, I’ve been learning a lot from them! I was wondering if it would be ok to ask a few more questions about all of yours’ musical journeys. 1. what kind of things that discourage daily and how do you get through it 2. When you go on tour with a huge list of repertoire, how do you sustain your playing in the highest level possible? 3. How did the competitions effect your career? 4. What other things you do that help you enrich your musical development? Thank you!

I really love these discussions. It is so reassuring that even world-class cellists like the three of you struggle with certain fingerings like the scale on the a-string in the beginning of Haydn 3rd mvmt. I always thought I just wasn't good enough for that. Turns out it is actually not a good fingering that only few people seem to be able to accomplish. By the way, concerning the fingering in the 2nd mvmt, Pablo once mentioned in his video about shifting that he never shifts with the same finger, but with the next one - in this case, c(2)-d(1). Maybe that's another possibility?
