Baserunning and pitching operate on the same juice box in this game, Drew. If you spam-click a player to try to get them to go faster, you'll drain all of their juice and be left with an even slower player. One or two clicks will speed them up. Five or six will slow them down considerably.

Man this is nostalgic! I miss these games back in the day. Pablo was always on my team, but Dante Robinson was always my GOAT. Pablo, Dante, the Kahn brothers, both the Kawaguchis, and Pete Wheeler were the team I'd have in just about every Backyard sports games. Hard to switch them out. Personally, never cared for the kid versions of the real players, so this baseball I preferred over the other.
