I had such a love/hate relationship with this game as a kid. I don't think I've ever been as frustrated with a protagonist before or since. Never beat it as a kid but went back in my late teens and finally managed to, though it took me many hours. Crazy to see how fast it can actually be beaten. Kudos to the runner, thanks for running this great and terrible game.

See, the great thing about adventure games is that even if the puzzles sometimes don't make sense, they have a good plot, characters and locations. At least the controls make sense. And there are no auto-scrollers. _PACMAN 2:_ hold my beer

Hey guys. I just want to give this guy a huge amount of credit for bringing us the Pac speedgames this time around. I was also originally supposed to run Pac 'n Roll Remix (in addition to this game) for this marathon, but I had to withdraw about a week before the event. That being said, I'm very excited to see more Pac-Man games getting representation at GDQ events, and I feel hopeful for the future Pac-Man games we'll see at these events. Huge shoutouts to this guy for still being there to give us the PacAttack the viewers deserved. PacAttack

Wow, its been years since I've seen this game. I didn't know it was a game worth running. I remember getting this as a Christmas present when I was like 5. This game was amazing to me at the time. It was and still is so bright and colorful. Didn't know it came out on Genesis.

This game gave me nightmares as a child. Something about the many ways Pac-Man can get messed up in this game, of which many can actually happen in a child's mind. Even watching this now makes me inexplicably uncomfortable.

I thought this game was just a childhood fever dream. Cool to see it's real and it's being speedran.

this is such a strange fascinating game especially for a speedrun... i'd seen it was weird but never knew just how weird it was. it's also really neat to see speedruns of stuff like this you wouldn't expect to be able to be speedran

This game convinced me as a kid to never buy another Pac Man game ever again. It is currently 2018, and there is still no good Pac Man game. They tried platforming, racing, party games, remaking the original, and even several tv shows. They always screw up. They seriously need someone that knows how to make a video game take charge of Pac Man. All he has is rehashing the original Arcade game, and hasn't improved otherwise. Pac Man 2 is probably the rock bottom of the franchise, and they are constantly trying to raise the bar on how bad they can make Pac Man. Why? Do they seriously think his name alone can make that many sales? His games are horrible, how are they making any money to justify them? I'm even bothered people still get nostalgic over him when they see him pop up in a movie as a retro throwback, because it just encourages them to never change their ways with this character. Wreck it Ralph, Pixels, yeah Pac Man was an arcade game, quit throwing money at him over a game he was in during the 80's, and reward characters old or new that are at least trying new things that are more interesting than making Pac Man a high school student. Have we learned nothing from Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures?
