Tetris 99 is a marathon: A race to test resilience. But this? This is still a marathon but making everyone run at full speed. The bodies pile up faster and you can't stop for a single second to see how everyone else is doing. I love it.

Why are those themes so pricey? What do they actually give you? They just look like wallpaper. And do you have to have online to play this? It turns out this is not cheap to play if so.

@@Gigantemanatee don't quote me on this but I assume if this is anything like tetris 99, then there will be other pac man themes that cost tickets from doing challenges, making the DLC themes optional and only if you want a different namco theme. And each theme will give you new music and sound effects (hence why I want pac man fever to be one of the theme songs) I hope those DLCS aren't the only themes we get. That would be extremely infuriating

@@Gigantemanatee personally I love playing splatoon 2, and since Splatoon 3 is on the horizon, I'm gonna have to continue my online. My advice is to try it for 1 year (it's $20 a year which can be pricey for Nintendo internet standards) but you get some cool perks like tetris 99, mario 99 or whatever it's called, the nes and SNES collection with new games being added every once in a while. So try it once and go from there

@@madmAn-ky8pd yeah when there’s no goals or progression I lose some interest or almost entirely lose interest. 🤷♀️ That’s why Fortnite is so successful bc you can earn skins and progress as you play and it gives you meaning behind the gameplay.
