This is a once a year event held in September called The Pacific coast gas bash and swap meet. You will find everything to decorate your car collector, garage, your office, vintage car themed restaurant or home. Old garage decor, automotive memorabilia available to purchase and decorate with! Old automotive advertising signs, old gas pumps, oil cans etc!!! Hopefully this video will inspire collectors to get out and attend a gas and oil event such as this incredible show.

Im always fascinated by how many relics have survived all these years, especially classic vehicles like the US Navy Car, all the way from Pearl Harbor, too. I really enjoyed watching this video. I'm excited to get my new backyard gas station set up, hopefully very soon.

I enjoyed this video very much. Thanks for showing the prices of the items that were marked. I liked the sign of the "New Arlington Hotel" @25:47 with rates of $1.50 and up. With rates this low, I need to find this hotel the next time that I travel somewhere. LOL I hope you found some nice items at good prices.

12:23 Weird looking dude with the orange arm and hand is called "Illuminated Jester". He's a hood ornament that looks righteous lit up at night cruising the boulevard. Downside is, everyone within reach wants to shake his hand so arm breaks at the elbow. Got mine from J.C. Whitney catalog mid 70's, still have it.

Rob, another incredible video. Oil and gas shows are great. For us foreigners, prices are expensive although I know everything in Petroliana is valued. Does American people think the same or not? Congratulations Rob and thanks for sharing us the vídeo.

I just gave a buddy one of those identical Coke cooler boxes at 1:20 literally a few weeks ago. It's for his early 50's rusty old Chevy half ton he's clear coated. Most everything I saw had those fancy 'California' prices on 'em. LOL Whoa...!! I about choked on the '57 Ford Ranchero...of course I don't know if that's what they called 'em back then. Heck I still use hot patches on my inner tubes !! That one dude's hood ornament collection was killer !! I have a NOS DeLaval Separator sign like the one at 24:35 and also I have the tractor that FARMALL aluminum strip goes on. LOL What a cool show...thank you Rob for bringing it to us.

Yeah not only are taxes high here but signs are high also. I can’t afford to buy signs at shows . I try to buy directly out of old buildings and barns at a fraction of what they are asking. I am glad you saw some interesting things on this walk around tour. Nice of you to give your buddy a cooler like that. I remember you also sharing a NOS cream separator on your channel. That sign you have belongs with it. Appreciate you taking the time to watch another video of mine . 😊😊😊Thanks Wendell

@@gaspumprob I have interests in many directions, but I've never bought a single item at an exorbitant price to reflect my interest. I applaud those that do but I am clearly too cheap !! LOL I have quite a few NOS DeLaval advertisements. One thing they gave out were metal dairy cows and calves. They were formed from just flat metal so you'd pull their four legs out just a bit to get them to stand up. All colored to match Guernsey, Jersey, Holstein, Charolais and other lines of dairy cattle. The newer ones from the early '50's were made of pasteboard, but colored the same.

Another great video Rob. Again, I see a few Canadian items making their way down there. At 19:20, you scrolled past a 5 lb Red Head grease tin. Red Head was predominately in the three Prairie Provinces up here, Saskatchewan, Alberta and slightly into Manitoba and very collectable around here and bring good money for the signs, quarts, and pails, etc. They were eventually bought out by the British American Oil Co. (BA) which I collect. Keep an eye out on my buddies channel Gary the Gear, we're planning an update video or two on my collection, I'll also keep you posted.

Well like the Fords in the garage. Your friend he's a real hoot. For the West Coast folks, that's aMidwest High compliment. I would not guess some 81 as he said. Do the rest of stuff I mean I thought those oil change around 10 or 15 bucks but I guess they've gone up. I'm sure that price varies her label in condition. Think I saw a BF Goodrich sign. You know I still have some stuff from a plant that they had. Some of that stuff probably a hundred years old because I'm pretty sure we've had it for 40-plus years maybe more. My look at the signed memorabilia and it made me think back. Meaning of the brands were different but just a different label on a same items sign or can. Yeah I start thinking about how much some of that stuff would be worth. For some reason they still make and sell it was all spots that you would wedge into the canned open them up and then pour into your vehicle. Sew-in Bob Hope or Bing Crosby would say Thanks for the memories! We thought would watch it while we're eating lunch. Another high-quality episode you put.out.

Liked the video but get closer and show the prices and the location and date of the event. Does the physical location change from year to year ? What is the name of the event & the group sponsoring it ? Does it require an entrance fee ? Is there a charge for parking? Are there snack bars there ? Are there bathrooms on site ? Is first aid available ? It gets hot in Santa Rosa and I lived there for 2 years so all of the above are questions you should have covered in the video or in the description and did not. If I had been there I would have bought the Squirt clock. I assume most purchases are for cash. Could you comment on that too ? I am credit card availability rich but cash poor. But by this time next year, ALL of my credit accounts will be paid off.

Thanks for posting the prices. Boy I had no idea how much these items have appreciated. I’ve been collecting old original signs for over 35 years. It’s getting harder to find near mint items that are original and not reproduction stuff. It’s great that someone wants to decorate their man cave with cheap reproduction stuff. But some sellers are trying to sell these items as original. Then the next guy buys it and realize they got hosed. It’s ruining the market in some parts of the country. I stay away from gas and oil signs that have orange rust on them. The old signs have a different metal and you won’t see orange rust. Buyer beware !!!

Thank you for mentioning this. You are correct . As far as prices - I usually don’t post but had several people asking me to do so over the past year or so . I don’t agree with todays prices at these shows . Many of these people are fishing to make a huge profit. They carry the same signs from show to show trying to get LUCKY . This is not always the case but I do see it often. I like to buy my signs out in the wild like found in a old barn or garage. If you look up some of my other videos you will see some original signs that I was able to buy from the source not from a dealer. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts here.
