In this video, we'll show you the basics in Pacific Drive - Steam's newest sci-fi survival game! This gameplay is taken from our first experience with the game, through the tutorial and first mission of the game.
Watch until the end to find out some helpful information and beginner tips that we wish we knew before we started the game, but are very glad to have learned before we got too much further!

@ShonnGriffith it's a pretty easy and enjoyable game to pick up and play, make sure to enjoy your time with it! Since we've completed it, we've gotten a few more insights into how things work. @skeletalrockstar Hey Skeletal, thanks for checking this out! Yeah, this game has been a lot of fun for the limited amount of time we've gotten to play. Although we've purchased the full game, we still haven't made it past what's playable in the demo. From here on out though, everything will be new to us! Absolutely love the idea of customizing the vehicle, and dig how many craftable elements there are. That's been the highlight so far! Dig the environments as well, excited to get further into to the story to see how everything develops!

Bro you happen to have or know of a vid that explains the projector HUD? Obviously for later game when some other POIs are unlocked. I cant figure out what half the stuff means. PS: top vid mate, keep up the good work.

@foofighter66625 hey Foo! Appreciate so much the kind words, and for you taking a few minutes to check this out. I'm not 100% sure of videos that focus solely on explaining the projector - I've since uninstalled this game since I've completed all there is to do for the time being. However, with that said, there's PLENTY of videos about this game on our channel in our Pacific Drive playlist: kzfaq.info/sun/PLhvfmPNrUktkvChHWYH04UuTAWj-IGY4e If I had to try and recall which might focus the most on the projector, I'd imagine the "Streets Ahead" achievement for planning trips; I talk about junctions, anomalies and conditions. However, more than happy to try my best to answer any specific questions you have! Just tag us in a comment on one of the other videos, or reply back here and I'll do what I can. As a VERY brief and general overview, try to utilize the Logbook/Projector legend to better understand anomalies, resources, and junction conditions a little better. If you've got a bunch of "???", these are either resources and/or anomalies that you're needing to scan to get information on. Once you do, as you start selecting the junctions for your run, they'll show up permanently so you'll know what to expect in that map. Also, the symbol and colour on the left of the anomalies will let you know what damage they do (and so you can better prepare your vehicle to prevent it!). @foofighter66625 here's the vid I referenced in the other comment: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ZrJnodOE27jadoU.html Thats *likely* the most projector-focused I have, but with each video I made, and as I learned about the game, I definitely come back to explaining smaller pieces of it time after time. But definitely feel free to poke around in that playlist! I've got guides for end game setups, and essentially what the most important upgrades and resources are to find and collect. Also, guides on how to get just about all of the achievements in the game if that's your thing! Sorry it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I'm hoping it can help nonetheless!

I'm on a PC in the garage and pressed every key trying to work the headset. wasted a lot of time. So I saw a few tutorials everyone so far has been with a controller I don't like controllers, I also looked in settings it doesn't really tell what key for the headset?? At the craft table it says open headset os. What key has the arrow pointing to the right (>I ). ??

@torineg.847 I played PC without controller, and this stumped me too! I did the same and checked settings, don't remember seeing anything. If I remember correctly, though, it's TAB. Give that a go and lmk how you make out!

I can’t find rubber in the garage to create the sealing kit

@voilent_dumpling11 hey voilent, incase you haven't found this yet, in the tutorial area I believe the only place to get rubber to craft the Sealing Kit is from using the Scrapper tool on the wheels of the wrecked car behind the shop. Hope this helps! 🙏

@horsethief822 it's been pretty fun honestly, but I feel like I'm enjoying the crafting and customizing more than the gameplay. I spend more time at the garage, and the game is just very dark since you're almost always out at night. It's a shame, cause it's a cool looking game when you're on brighter maps during the day
