Same. As another commenter put it so well under a different video: "It's a live-action anime." Giant robots and Kaijus were a really common anime trope in 1970-1980 like Goldorak (Grendizer), Godzilla, Mobile Suit Gundam, etc. Pacific Rim is the live-action version of those animes. The #1 aspect that makes it GREAT is the weight of the Jaegers. That's also the aspect that's missing in Uprising 😢.

No, comedy in that part will ruined the scene, this movie has his times on comedy and action, to much comedy and the movie end up being just a comedy, it would be good on the part where they land on the stadium, with a little break, but not in the middle of the ending of that fight

I happily agree, the movie was excellently paced and set up every pay off from the beginning, at least when you don't switch your brain off to watch it. If they had made a joke or reference the whole scene would have fell flat since it was actually a legitimately tense action set with just the right amount of awesome thrown in. Not to mention the mere use of the sword being a clear indication of the point where they made a clear decision between the mission and collateral.

The only nit pick I could say is maybe have the strings pronounce the melody a bit more when the most memorable part of the theme plays, if that makes sense, but again a very small nit pick. HEY Parademics If you havent considered it already, I think you should do a reimagining/remaster of the Rocky theme. I have been longing for one for so long. I love the original, and what it means, but I always feel like it is lacking the touch of modern heroic-ness found in a lot of newer soundtracks. CREED theme was a good start, but not a remake. If anyone can do it justice, it would be you. IF I CAN CHANGE, EVERYONE CAN CHANGE!!

The Black feels like Pacific Rim 1's continued Universe than the 2nd Movie itself... I mean man, why the Anime would do so much potential than the Uprising's take?
