Adding hairspray after another hold product and before diffuser has been a game changer for me. I did try only hairspray while on vacation for my styler and it was one of my best washes. Love it.

Oh dear...I've reached that age....almost everything "comes back around" with regard to style, etc., but most curly hair stuff is fairly fresh (not a lot of products when I was much younger...like, may, 2 or 3 products at the store). BUT - spraying your curly hair with hairspray while it was still wet (with no other products in it) is something we did back in the late 70s and early 80s when I was a teen and it worked really well. Funny - I had forgotten all about this! Now that I have a full head of grey curls, I'm going to have to give it a shot again. Loved that you posted this!

I love the Pacifica Rosemary Scalp Scrub. IMO it works just as good as the higher end brands for half the cost! It leaves my hair and scalp so clean and refreshed!! I really like the scent too. I'm going to try the shampoo and conditioner in the same line at some point.

Of all the products I have used for my wavy hair, I think that Pacifica has the best fragrance. I adore it! Of course, appreciation of fragrance is a very individualized thing.

Your hair looks great! I've never used hairspray as my only styler. I usually use it with a mousse. Love the shorter diffuse time when I use hairspray.

Love all the Pacifica products I’ve tried! But, probably my most favorite is the Rosemary Purify line. It’s pretty clarifying and has the most amazing herbal scent.

*Pacifica Rosemary Purify line* . I have not tried the Pacifica Pineapple Curls line as that fragrance is not my jam. However, the Rosemary Purify shampoo and conditioner have a permanent place in my shower. I don't use those products exclusively but I know I can count on them for my hair. My mids and ends tend to be high porosity but I may give that hair spray a shot as a styler.

That product sounds really cool! I've been loving light weight wash days this summer, and the super fast drying that comes with them. It would be interesting to compare results applying on soaking wet hair to clumping your waves, plopping, and then applying like you would a mousse.

This made me laugh. The BEST gel was the deva curl gels and they had alcohols. But thats why they worked the best for my waves! I will definitely give this a try!

I would love to see a one brand wash day with Garnier Fructis Pure Clean. It has a sulfate, so I use it for clarifying. It is silicone free and wonderful!

You should try OGX, and since you like protein I recommend the "thick and full" conditioner, which is really packed with proteins quite high in the ingredients. Not the shampoo though, way too delicate.

This hairspray is one of my regular stylers! It’s so good! I usually pair it with a gel, but I’ll have to try it alone and see how that works out for me. I’ve tried the pineapple curls line, but I actually find that the whole Pacifica Salty Waves line works better for my fine and wavy hair. I use the shampoo, conditioner, sea salt spray, and the hairspray. Love Pacifica as a whole, I really think people sleep on this brand because it’s a drug store brand, but they have some amazing products. Hair care, skin care, and makeup!

Haven’t watched yet but I saw this pop up and just wanted to say idk what products you used from Pacifica but they made my fave shampoo I’ve ever used salty waves and I can’t find it anymore at any target and it makes me so sad cause I had the best wash days with that shampoo

Since I'm not really following the CGM, so the denatured alcohol isn't a big deal for me. I love using hairspray for the faster drying time and extra hold. I wonder, since you are not using any leave-ins or curl creams, if you were to just rinse out most of the conditioner, leaving a bit in, would that help to keep your hair from feeling dry? 🤔 I know you just did a drug store line, but how about Tresemme?

Have to agree that the results give similar briogeo vibes but if I'm rembering right, I think briogeo lasted better into day 2. But depending on price it could be a good drugstore dup.

Courtney I got a great level of satisfaction seeing you remove the shampoo and condish from your ears. In previous videos, I always see some shampoo or condish stuck inside your ear and I yell "Courtney you forgot to remove the shampoo from your ears!" even though you can't hear me lol ! Today my perfectionist brain got so happy you removed it on camera. Whew. Also love that the dog made a cutesie appearance! He wants to be a part of your video :)

I think this might be one of the best washdays I've seen! I don't know if it would work for me. I was down near the ocean for about a week and my hair looked so dry 😂 I don't think it would like the sea salt ingredient. Oh well, you look great!

My coarse hair does not like sea salt at all!! Feels very dry and gritty even with using curl cream. So I look for it in anything.

Dang, it looks like I’d be paying over $50 to order the hair spray into Canada! Anyone know where to purchase locally? Shoppers sells Pacifica but doesn’t carry this product.

The reason the hyaluronic acid is so low on the ingredient list is because the usage rate in formulation is very low, at fractions of a percent. There are many great ingredients that you use at fractions of a percent but pack a big punch. Hyaluronic acid is one of those ingredients.

Very skeptical of any shampoo that lathers on the the first wash. There must be additives in it to make it lather, which means it’s junk. A good, esp professional shampoo, should only lather when the scalp is clean. So the first wash there shouldn’t be much lather, but the second wash should have much more lather showing the scalp is clean.
