When I was living near there I fished that river a couple times same stretch as you, but I was new to fly fishing so didn't have too much luck. But saw some absolute donkeys

I’ma viewer from the US and my momis kiwi native and her sister lives in Hikurangi and I was curious if there’s any good trout fishing around there. She doesn’t have a clue about trout and her husband only fishes salt. She brought back a lot of Whittaker sweets which are always🔥 compared to what we have here. Wasn’t diggin the watties tomato sauce tho. Are the big bens meat pies worth eating? Lmao 😂

hey mate if its Hikurangi in the far north then yeah the trout fishing is bad but great salt water. all the good trout fishing is south of lake Taupo. Oh yeah we have good chocolate
