I work at target and the store manager would never call a random customer. If they found someone messing with packs they would call ap (security) and then let them deal with it. Donating the cards is all well and good but what he should have done was to insert the packs back into the boxes. All he has done was to take away from the next unsuspecting pack buyer who now has no chance of hitting those autos.

I know it's 10 years old but I was in Target today and all the fat packs of every product were searched. Absolutely disgusting. Still grabbed a S2 Baseball and got a Bryce Wilson /999. But the point remains I felt like I shouldn't buy anything at all cause they were searched and possibly all the good packs were gone.

For future reference, the packs have a "H" at the top left corner of the pack. Meaning they're all Hobby packs. Meaning he didnt get them from Target and also why there is a memorabilia card in every pack.

I'm a simi pack searcher, but I'm a 17 year old and I keep all of my hits I've never sold a card on ebay, I collect football and basketball cards! While I do pack search I do it to get hits for my collections, so am I really pack searching? I'll pull a relic that's not even numbered and it'll make my day! I hate the guys that resell them, but I promise you when I do it I do it for myself not for ebay!

ive only ever seen i hit per box in bowman and every target and wal-mart across the country ive been to maybe 50 of them,only has 2 boxes at most of the same bowman or topps brand of each product out,so im not sure how you got about 15 hot packs in one store.they would have to have 15 boxes or so of that boman product on the shelf and that would take up their entire shelf..so hmmm

Pack searching is NOT illegal in most cases... As long as he wasn't tampering with the packages.(He might have been since he had a hairdryer I guess to open them) Although it is a lousy way to get cards it is effective. I honestly hate how stupidly easy it is to pack search. I have read up on it and the stupid thing is they don't put dummies in every pack... That's stupid if they put dummies in every pack then it would be much harder to get "hot packs". The companies are too stupid to do it...

Honestly I dont really see a problem with packsearching, packs are expensive and its understandable that you dont want to break the bank if you only want the hits, if the companies arent willing to disguise the hits better, why the hell should anyone spend 5 times the money to get the same hit with the only added bonus of a few extra base?
