Breanna and Joyce’s channel Really? I only think I wore hospital clothes for the first two days when I was in the Intensive Care Unit. Then I think the nurses let me decide when to start wearing my own clothes again. 😊 But it probably just depends on the hospital and what the patients feel most comfortable in 😊

Wow, that’s a lot. I was there 11 days and I can not even imagine being there any longer. I hope whatever you are going to have done in the hospital is something where you can still do things like read or watch movies ☺️ I hope it goes well 😊

@@freja_thorup_hansen may i know how do you change your pads if you had your period during the post-operation period? because from what i know the surgery affects mobility so is it possible to still go to the toilet to change the pads by yourself? really appreciate if you could answer this cos im quite worried that my scoliosis surgery in 2 days would clash with my period

@@mmhello3275 Hi I chose to start birth control the month of my surgery, so I didn’t actually have my period until about 3-4 weeks after my surgery. I know that if you’re on your period while being in the hospital unable to move much, the nurses will most likely take care of it all for you. In my experience I had to stay in the hospital until I was able to walk up stairs by myself and until my stomach started working properly again, which took about 10 days for me. By that time I was able to bend enough so that if I had had to change a pad, I would have been able to do it by myself. I don’t think that’s something you have to worry about. It’s probably going to be harder to get your underwear on than it is to change your pad. But you’ll probably be able to do things like that quickly anyway ☺️ I hope your surgery goes well and that you have a quick recovery ❤️

I’m a Makeup Artist, so I love beauty products. I brought cosmetics to the hospital because I knew that the time after the surgery would be hard and doing my makeup usually cheer me up 😊

I’m from Denmark, but when I made this video, I lived very close to Germany, so that’s why a lot of my things are from Germany 😊

I am and I’m having the surgery soon, I’m scared that I won’t be able to dance. If you are did you go back?

I’m not a dancer 🙂 It has now been over 9 months since I had my surgery. The only issues I have when I’m moving around is when I have to bend down, like when I tie my shoes, I sit on the floor and when I pick up stuff, I bend in my knees instead of my back. If you’re surgery goes well, I don’t think dancing is going to be a problem, only for the first few months 😊 Good luck with your surgery ♥️

Ashley Arceo Thanks for commenting and you’re right! After having surgery, you will be very tired. Doing makeup is one of my favorite things to do and it makes me really happy to do it. I only brought it, for In case I would get sad or bored, cause then I knew it would make me a little happier to play with makeup. I only used some of it on the last two days in the hospital, and I think most other people probably wouldn’t need to bring it, but I was happy that I did. 😊
