All eyes are on Aaron Rodgers after the Green Bay Packers dropped to 3-6. He is set to take on the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field in Week 10. The two-time MVP has been the talk of the season, including calling out his wide receivers in the beginning of the year. Now, an ESPN report says that Rodgers created tension in the locker room by painting wide receivers as 'scapegoats.' Emmanuel Acho, Joy Taylor, LeSean McCoy and David Helman discuss whether they like how Rodgers has handled the season.

I mean these shows always have someone on each end of the spectrum. I just think Acho is being devil's advocate here and it boosts ratings when these types of shows are more of a debate than a collective agreement. It's why Skip and Shannon often have opposing arguments even if they agree on stuff IRL. It's just the sports show meta.

Tom Brady is by no means my favorite qb at all. This man had 6 super bowl rings but still took the time to organize workouts with his new teammates, specifically WRs, in tampa DURING COVID bc it was a new set of critical players. Aaron Rodgers somehow thought his ability was so superior that he could overcome chemistry…the fundamental key to team sports😂😂. 2 time mvp with one of the greatest wrs he had yrs of chemistry with. Its not rocket science. Stop excusing him skipping OTAs with the new guys. The “goat” didn’t do it…they won a superbowl 🤷🏿‍♂️

@@waynesonneman7343 borrowed time averted. if they offered it was to match not to show their own love. And if you put an established player under contract you make the first year basically a signing bonus to spread the cap hit into the future. We wondered where the money they aren't paying Lamar Jackson gets spent. For example Jalen Hurts is so cheap his team is amazing. He's likely to be MVP because he's the figurehead for that team. But in my opinion his salary makes him the MVP dollar for dollar of all time. Be interesting to see how they structure his contract how many playmakers they can keep. Win lose or draw that's a collection of good players. They're going to have a time trying to replace cap hits with draft picks.

No one's mad at the receivers as much as they are the coach and Rogers, we can't even remember their names long enough to be mad at them.

People love to say Rodgers took all the money and that’s why he can’t get help. At the same time acknowledge the Packers not spending money or getting him any help like that. Rather Rodgers took the 50 mil or not the Packers was going to do Packer things the way they doing it now.

Rodgers need those older guys (Cobb, Mathews, Woodson, etc) to be leaders on the team because he knows he can not be that leader

He has become too cerebral. Unless the WR runs the EXACT route he wants, he doesn’t trust them at all… that’s been a problem for almost a decade now. He has forgotten how to play back yard football and throw the WR open. The fact is DeVante Adams is the only new WR (or pass catcher brought in) Rodgers has meshed with since 2012. THATS A PROBLEM, and primarily on him. In regards to Watson, after he dropped that first pass his way, Rodgers was blatantly afraid to give the guy another chance to redeem himself. After that he’s only had runs or pointless dump offs that do nothing to maximize his skill set (part of that’s on coaching too). Also he’s had obscenely bad luck with injuries; two concussions in back to back games is bad luck, not poor conditioning or the “product” of going to a small school. Martellus Bennett himself said Rodgers is more talented than Brady, but Brady was much easier to mesh with. Brady wants the receiver in a general area before he cuts the ball loose, while Rodgers will only cut the ball loose if the WR runs an exact, precise route. If anymore thinks OBJ or Toney would’ve helped GB, they’re loony.

Aaron shouldn’t be mad with the WRs, he should be upset with the front office who drafted them.
