I realize now another reason they may have brought this dude in instead of someone with more of a NFL background (yes I know he has experience in the league) is because he relates more to having a younger roster. He knows the teaching of fundamentals to a younger group is more important than shoving complicated stuff down their throats.

Cooper and Bullard made that defense insanely more exciting and that it’s easily going to be one of the best defenses in the league!! I just realized this he was with Saleh and the 49ers defense!!! So this defense is literally going to be 49ers style!! Nobody is gonna realize that Cooper is going to be a legit problem! He’s got rare athleticism that LBs today don’t carry with themselves! That’s one of his biggest traits is the rare athleticism he brings. You can just tell he’s so excited about this brand new looking defense and knows exactly what kind of style they want to work on and get all of those guys to become confident knowing exactly where to go and attack the ball and stuff! Thats exactly what the 49ers defense was when we faced them in the past, incredibly confident and knew exactly where to go and to attack the ball immediately! Thats where the level of the 49ers style being 4-3 attacking the ball constantly is where this Packers defense is literally going to be

The days of dominating defense are gone. It's all about "situational defense" now. Getting off the field on 3rd down and being tough on 4th down and goal line are keys. You have to have the personel to achieve your defensive goals but you have to have the play calling too.
