my favorite thing to order at my local restaurant is the chili relleno and I've only ever eaten it from there. decided I wanted to try making it myself and I learned that traditionally it's battered and fried. they skip that part. I still love it and order one at least once a week just a la carte they only charge $2.99 and it's a big pepper STUFFED so feels more than worth it.
