Idk, that Fields and Herbert card will cover for most of that 26k easily. That Hebert probably will go for 10-15k alone. People don't spend 26k because they want good looking cards with game worn jerseys. They're just buying to potentially profit, like you said, collectors keep buying.

Pros and cons of the break... Pros: I absolutely love how he's nervous but doesn't yell and freak out for ever single card pulled. Cons: At $26k a box, player worn cuts of players that have been in the league for 2+ years just doesn't suffice... Panini is a fraud.

Although I was an avid sports card collector as a kid (30+ years ago), I no longer buy or sell cards but recently started watching a lot of these sports card videos. This video is truly one of the craziest things that I have ever seen on KZfaq (I have seen some crazy for sure). I do appreciate the fact that you are giving all the cards away which shows very nice marketing intelligence on your part but lets take a moment and look at what you just gave away.... First of all, the entire box was filled with relatively new, "manufactured rarity cards"... One of the cards that you believed to be either the best or second best pull was a QB that has thrown less than 100 passes and 10 TDs in his almost nonexistent NFL career. Three out of the eight cards were of players that haven't played football for over 10 and 20 years but had an ounce of silver and their signature..... Are you kidding me??? The box of 8 cost $26,000!!! Guys, take a step back for a moment and think about what is going on here... This is not sustainable in any market.. If you are holding onto a small fortune worth of these "manufactured rarity cards", sell them now and either enjoy whatever you decide to buy with the proceeds. My personal opinion and obviously know one knows me but take a moment and really think about what you have and consider if it can stand the test of time? On a side note, I would say the Sinatra signature will hold the most value of these 8 cards. Someone would love to pay a decent amount of money (not $26,000) to hang that on their wall or desk at their office.

My thoughts precisely. As for the Sinatra, I just checked eBay and you can get a number of different autos, some on actual photos, for a lot less than you'll need to get if you sell this one and the others looking to break even on the box. I can't imagine most Sinatra collectors caring to spend much on this just because it's in a special Panini holder. Just one guys opinion though.

A lot of the appeal is the rookie cards. I would much rather have a Trey lance than a Lawerence Taylor. A rookie QB card is a chase card Regardless of if he is already good or not. It’s about the chance he ends up being an all time great. If lance wins 2-3 SB’s that rookie lance is worth FAR more than any other card in the box including the cut auto. But yes, 26k for a box is absolutely ridiculous and nobody should buy it. All panini products have horrible ROI on average. You have to get lucky to come out ahead on almost any panini product nowadays

Yep. I bought a PSA 10 Tatis awhile by for $200. Sold it for $2k when the market peaked and called it a day. Now it’s selling for around $400. Can’t complain with that profit margin

Frank Sinatra?! That's so dope!!! Had no clue that was even possible but that's absolutely amazing and a stunning 1/1 card. The Champ Bailey/Charles Woodson dual was so sick too. Obviously the QB hits were all ridiculous as well. This set is amazing and something I could only dream of opening!

That Sinatra is probably my favorite card. I remember in the late 70's him and the rest of the rat pack was staying at the Thunderbird in Jacksonville, FL and they walked by the swimming pool and everybody just stopped what they were doing. Moment I'll never forget. I was 12. My second favorite is the Barry Sanders. Awesome video by the way!

If I had to pick, I'd have to go for the Herbert. Second choice for me would be the Barry Sanders since I grew up watching him play. What a box though!
