I AM ATHLETE Miami | Season 3: Episode 9
Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back and kick returner Adam "Pacman" Jones joins Brandon Marshall, Chad Johnson, Channing Crowder and Fred Taylor in episode 9 of I AM ATHLETE Miami.
Pac-Mac discusses navigating the loss of his good friend and former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, Chris Henry. Henry died in 2009 after falling from his fiancé’s pickup truck in North Carolina. Brandon and Chad share their personal reactions to hearing the news of Henry’s death and share how he played a role on in their personal careers. Pac-Man goes on to discuss growing up and how he learned to handle death at an early age. #Pacman #ChrisHenry #Ochocinco
Brandon notes the ups and downs of Pac-Man's well documented career while in the NFL. The two discuss two separate incidents at an airport and strip club in Atlanta that made headlines around the country. Pac-Man tells his story firsthand and responds with his thoughts on the media and how they are quick to judge and “shoot you down” before learning the facts.
Pac-Man goes on to discuss life after the NFL and how his focus is on his family. He notes that his greatest achievement as a man is his wife of 16 years and how he feels that he would be dead or in jail if it had not been for her support and love. He also shares what led to his family’s decision to adopt the 2 boys of his deceased friend Henry.
Things get fired up after Fred challenges Pac-Man and Chad to a boxing match while Brandon calls out president of Showtime Sports, Stephen Espinoza to give the people what they want. Pac-Man and Chad square up face to face on set and leave the viewers questioning if this matchup will ever happen.

Instead of pushing right wing goofballs like Larry Elder onto people you could’ve told OP to research Malcolm X, King Randall, Lonnie Johnson, Robert Smith, Reginald Lewis so their son can be inspired rather than indoctrinated with bullshit. Young black men will learn a hell of lot more studying the aforementioned people I cited then the two you did.

Chad deserves and will be in the Hall of Fame. He plays it off like he doesn't care, but when Brandon said you have on a yellow shirt and you need a yellow jack, Chad quickly got real, muttering don't do that, don't do that. He deep down knows he is more than worthy of the HOF, but acts like he doesn't care because deep down he fears he won't get in. He does care, he will get in someday, and I'll be cheering when he gets it. P.S. Y'all gotta make this show a full 55 minutes. Don't cheat me out of my IAA time.

BIG UPS to Pac for taking on his boys seed can't help but to have love and respect for him. We as outsiders looking in can't see an individual for the good qualities that they have. I respect you for this Pac because I truly understand what that meant.

Life long Bengals fan. I was 13 when Chris was drafted & 17 when he passed away. That shit really hit deep and hurt so much. It hurt then & still hurts now. I was just a kid when these guys were playin, they were our idols man, it wasn’t like the movies tho they were REAL life super heroes. It was just such an empty and dark feeling when that happened. Everytime they took the field there was this void and everyone could feel & sense it, I mean everybody. Obviously us fans for the most part didn’t know Chris on a real close personal lvl but it still hurt all the same. Hard to fathom being a teammate or especially being in a guy like Chads shoes at that time. We all know how close you get with teammates and with Chad & Chris obviously being in the same position group, they spent COUNTLESS hours, days, & years together. Then the same with PAC being college teammates with him, ect. We all still miss him so much and like PAC said he’s looking down on us smiling. We miss you and love you forever man. RIP to Chris “Slim” Henry #15🙏 May 17th, 1983 - Dec 17th, 2009
