The Uk's North East Coastal walks, Finns Labyrinth, Souter Lighthouse Walk and cycle path
We just went for a walk but took the cameras with us, some nice sea arches along the north east coastal paths. The UK has so much to offer just trying to make a good photos in boring light was hard.. at least we got to see some new stuff..

The labyrinth is an ancient tool to aid in meditation and contemplation. Walking the path into the centre and out again focuses the mind. Yes the video was worth watching. You showed us the reality of the location in those conditions. Lots of potential there as you say. Thank you for sharing the location.

finn mc'cool was a good friend of mines beloved dog and companion for years he was sorely missed and he dedicated that magnificent monument to him in a gesture of love , rip finn , friends bring rocks from far geological regions to add to it ,

Finns Labarynth was built by a guy named Sean Hesa and named in memory of his dog that would accompany him on his daily walks along the coast. I never met Sean, but I imagine a lone man taking pleasure walking along the cliff path to fill his days. If I’m ever walking along that way, I always look for bits that need a few extra stones and help out. I’m sure there are many other of my South Shields neighbours do the same.

You never know what conditions will be like, but whatever happens you have seen some lovely scenery and had a good walk - nothing wrong with that. Always great to see potential locations - keep them coming.

It was definitely worth putting out Paul. Looks like a great location for some coastal photography, those sea arches would look fantastic with a bit of mist or a stunning sunrise.

You picked a great location only a few minutes from me, Souter lighthouse is a great location for the northern lights, elephant rock just below the light house is worth a look for star trails when the tides out , great location for sunrise and summer sunsets

That looks a lovely location Paul. As far as the images are concerned you can only work with what you have and if conditions aren't great then you can't work miracles. Given the circumstances you did well mate 📷👍

In this video Paul captures "Finn's labyrinth". This sadly no longer exists. I know the creater of the labyrinth created it as a memorial for his deceased pet dog. He split up with his partner who destroyed it seversl time's. Its was rebuilt each time. I don't know if the current state is due to that but it just the inner circle and outer circle. I padt by on my bike today.

The north east coast of England is totally underrated as a holiday destination. You haven't been blessed with the most photogenic weather conditions this summer wherever you've been, but as Denise says you get what you get. Looks like another location that's worth a return visit, cheaper than the Faroe Islands as well 😉

It’s a great video Paul especially as it’s in my area. Note to self, I must get out with the camera in my own area more often. It’s great seeing it through someone else’s eyes 👍
