In this video, the Boys and I spend the morning snagging for paddlefish on Truman Lake, in the Ozarks of Missouri, using Garmin Livescope! Livescope is a bit of a controversial topic amongst some anglers. The fact of the matter is that Garmin Livescope is completely legal to use for paddlefish snagging. The Missouri Department of Conservation has no problem with anglers using this method to catch fish in our beautiful State. We are on the Osage River Arm of Truman Lake, where the spoonbill snagging is lightning fast and fish are incredible plentiful. Holy cow! I fished your area once back in 1993 and caught one 58 pounder the last day of a week long stay......I must have made literally 5000 casts and about wore myself out, and I was young then! These live scopes sure make it easier to locate fish. Thanks for the video.

@janmorse6948 thanks for checking out the channel! Yes, they make it very easy to get fish. I honestly have mixed emotions on them... but I figure it's Missouri Conservation's Place to decide legalities, not mine. I will say that it is really fun!

Hey Man so good video. Thank you. I usually fish in Table Rock lake Cape Fair area. May I ask you, what settings do you have on your livescope screen? The water seems milky and muddy but your screen is so clear!!!! I hope next season would be even better. Thank you.

Awesome video. Where are you finding this shallow waters? Went to Osceola everything seems 20+

This was near Osceola, on the Osage! Try moving into the mud flats! You'd be surprised how shallow the big ones hang out sometimes! Thanks for watching!
