Drum seeder machine is made of plastic and its total weight is 5-6 kg. Through this machine we can sow the paddy seed directly in paddy field. Before seed sowing need to select the good seeds through brine water solution and should germinate after treating the seed. Through drum seeder we can reduce the expenses of 85% labor cost. Heavy rainfall at the time sowing is not good.
Fertilizer application should do as per the recommendation of soil test . If you have not the soil health card then apply- FYM 15-20 cart per acre. DAP 27kg,Urea 110 kg,Phosphate 75kg,Potash 20kg per acre. Farmer should apply full dose of DAP,Phosphate and potash and 1/3 of urea before sowing of seed. Rest urea should apply in another two times. One is at the time of weeding and the second after 15 days of first weeding.
