The Paderborner Pilger ist brewed since 2017. In our region (Paderborn is in the heart of westfalia), the Pilger is available in Restaurants. The best idea the brewery in Paderborn has ever had.

Well now the new Paderborner Walz ist the best idea they ever head imho. 75cents / 0,5 L and aviable for a week or so. It's good, give it a try.

You should try to get your hands on the Paderborner Walz! I'm pretty sure you're gonna love it. Just stay away from the Paderborner Pils :D

I´m just wondering again where Mark get this correct knowledge from. Yes, Kellerbier is nothing else than unfiltered lager.

Stephan, in the USA we have the BJCP that classifies beers. It has specs for the beer, but sometimes it is not perfect.

Once again, in German beer is official a staple food and has to be cheap a milk and flower. otherwise there will be a civil war in our country. Since 1000 years our goverment is afraight of to tax beer.....they love their lives...:-)

Also it may not necessarily fit any strict style guidelines. It is whatever the brewer wants in a beer that would be considered “sessionable”. I never gave you a ranking on Sam Adams Boston Lager. It is possible that that is a landbier in origin as it really does fit any real modern style.

They can sell it cheap because it sells fast, they have enough land to grow the barley and hops and are very efficient.

It´s cheaper to preduce beer than milk! And that´s it! Your UK tax-system is unhuman and outrageous, that´s all about.

It is Stephan from a friends account. I told bullshit yesterday regarding the price. I checked it out today in my local drinking-center. The can version is 59 cent, the glas-bottle version is 38 cent. In Germany beer in cans is much more expensive than in glas bottles because of the environmental Protection.

if you know an importer i could make sure that it comes to uk too. i work for the paderborner brewery. we send it around the world but not in the uk :(

All those crap beers would still be sold. People used to drinking weak beers never get their taste buds around real beers.
