Since you guys don't know this information is for you and your family : The role of Ranveer Singh in this movie was dark, to get into this fully he isolated himself from others and went to an island for a few months alone to get the idea and feel of this role. It got to a point where it started affecting him off the camera and like as if the role stayed in him. He had to take medicines see the doctor and do anything possible to get that role out of himself and it shows on screen as well
