For the past 3 months, As a life long Angels fan, I've been saying that, until Arte sells the team, I'm going to become a Padres fan because I've had enough of the BS... The one time I don't mind seeing the Angels lose because I've began enjoying watching Padres baseball... They sweep the Padres 🙃😂

I’m kind of in the same boat, my wife is a padres fan and since they’re in the national league I’ve been watching and rooting for them. I expected the Padres to sweep us so I was completely surprised 😮

So Manny Machado finally hustles down the first-base line......and he gets hurt. Perhaps if he ran harder in games more often, instead of only running to be first in line at the postgame buttet, his body would have handled it better.

I am Japanese and I don't know why Neto was called Big Papa when he hit a home run! Can someone please tell me what does "Big Papa" mean?

It's a reference to a song, look up biggie and "they like to call me Big poppa" it's humor since neto is not that tall but can hit dingers and jump 60 feet in the air. Also his walk up music before batting is a biggie song. Hope this helps, we call it "tongue in cheek" humor. He's short like all our short stops

Wow, when I saw this guy Neto ( never saw him ever or first time seeing this guy) I just saw that Tight stance of his bat and position of bat and arms, I said "Wow, this guy getting ready for that tight QUICK swing" I saw it in his eyes he was anticipating that Fast ball from the start of stepping up. And than the kid goes yard of just that, a ready position to make contact at the sweetest spot. Wow, MLB ESP, EXTREMLY SURPRISING PREDICTION OVER JUST extra stupid phrases. Neto had that pitch right on !

Problem with Padres is their inconsistent. Despite being in 2nd place, that's due to NL WEST division, which isn't that great. Dodgers are the consistent team in the division. Padres should keep consistent wins of at least 4 to five games more than their loses. If the Padres do not elevate their game soon especially after the All Star break I don't see a post season, even if they make the Wild Card (luck) they will not go pass that.

That they will reach the wild card is a possibility, they have a very good team individually, but not collectively, and they also make many mistakes when going around the bases, in addition to leaving many runners on base, I hope they can make the adjustment in time.

I peaked in little league but could do a better job than Padres’ 3rd base coach. Ruined the energy of the game from the jump on that infield error sending runner to 3rd with the ball ten feet away.
