When Fernando was suspended for substance abuse… His teammates didn't really back him up too much. It almost felt like they had some animosity. I'm regarding Fernando and his injury. I think they're saying it's a bruised femur… Not sure how you bruised that bone. This is the biggest bone in the body. Wondering if it's something more… Like something wrong with the bone itself due to different medical conditions

As frustrating as it is when our big stars aren't playing to their potential (or paycheck), one thing about this Padres team is that the other guys will step up and help carry the team. Which is the definition of a "team." Tatis was on fire just before he went on the IL, so he was part of the 4-game win streak of the last 10, but he was out when the whole thing with the Nats happened. That series LIT THE PADRES UP. And moreover, I think it really united them as a team. But I do think their determination does have something to do with the fact that it's happening with so many of their stars on the IL. If you give the Padres something to prove, they will.

Lol what you mean. At one point Tatis was literally the only one producing before he got hurt. He would get on base and left stranded, and xbh but with no one on.

If you want some friends Id say go to a baseball game. They will have the same interest as you and if you can get to a yankee game, will be able to talk about the team with you. Just ask them about the pitcher on the mound or the batter at the plate, and develop the convo from there. Good luck on finding a baseball friend!
