I think hes better now at 37 then he was at 27. I would even go so far as to say hes the top 5 muay thai fighter in his division right now in the world. Powerful techniques and never give up attitude will land him the ONE belt. He will probably fight Haggerty shortly and even though im a big fan of Haggerty my money is on Liam

Do you still have you hands wrapped with the sponge pad in the smaller gloves? That must be really cramped if so.

see how thick the glove is i wrapped it similarly but it’s really good for preventing knuckle issues and you get more wrap for your wrist so win win

@@alucard19 see I would think the same, but I have the fairtex gloves same as those. When I wrap up at all, it causes pain in just my left middle knuckle. It confuses the hell out of me. Thank you for the response btw.

@@Viper20111011 okay here is the thing fairtex gloves are SMALL muay thai gloves are SMALL due to thai people and asians being smaller so you might want to get a brand like TWINS which have a nice spacious hand compartment alternatively run with a boxing glove but that will reduce your clinching capabilities

hey liam. Can you show any drills to improve punching accuracy? Preferably on a heavy bag? I feel like thats a skill that is slightly looked over when teaching mt/kickboxing. Also for those that dont know the pad holder is andy howson hes a fuckin serial killer

Its interesting how thai pad holders hold the pads more upright ! Than western trainer holds them more at the angle and and abit Lower! Different trainers different methods I soppose

I think the lower angle is aimed to kick under the arm (liver or ribs) where as the higher angle might be aimed forearms. Kicks like this to forearms can weaken the opponents guard.(not sure but this is what I think(

Just food for thought.... would you ever throw a kick in a street fight??? (I get teeping to keep the distance but head kicks/round houses etc)

I threw 2 leg kicks right out the bat in my last street fight (out of self defense) and the guy froze like a sitting duck LOL. You throw one clean strike or combo and most of the time your opponent will shit their pants and do nothing.

Take this comment with a grain of salt - you are fluttering your hands just before you start any combination with a punch if that makes sense. Your Front hand drops a few inches before punching sort of telegraphed but thats also from me watching it from a video stand point.
