Great review 👍 . Finally, a Pagani I would buy and wear. I prefer the design to submariner homages, especially the hideous fat lugs version. As you highlight, the only flaw that would annoy me is the tiny hour hand.

great review as usual shame about the bezel play seems all Pagani suffer from this and the hands are small but I really like it and the packaging was great

Thank you for watching Jason. Glad you enjoyed it. Agreed, the bezel back play is a disappointment. The bezel action on my PD-1661 is good. I am hoping they will also improve it on other models such as the PD-1667, and PD-1662; which also have back play. Regards.

Really nice video, no infos missing, thanks for that! The too short leathers, rubber and bracelets are a poor running gag! I ordered a LIGE 8936 and wanted an additional link. They offered me one extra link for only 11 Euros....

It's a Christopher Ward C60 design (almost) at 1/10th the price. Although the hands are on the smaller side as some have pointed out. In comparison, I think the hands on the Omega PD-1667 homage are too large for the watch face. But overall a very nice watch for the money.

Okay I think they might be overcharging a bit on this one. Considering this is also on a rubber strap and you can even get the PD1661 for $80-$90 and it has a solid link, end link bracelet and better bezel action than this one. Granted it doesn't have a domed sapphire crystal and as good lume I'd be comfortable paying $110 for this and not $140. Even then on a bracelet. That's my opinion

I just purchased one for that price, including shipping to Chile. It's an incredible bargain. Just the Seiko movement costs that much. I own several Paganis, and this one has a better quality overall than the others. It feels and looks like a 300 dollar watch, IMO.

I just wish they would remove the words under the logo and make the logo a little bigger. It's a good logo and would look much better without the name.

Hi. Another great well presented review. I like the Blue Dial version. Would you agree and if anyone would know I know you will if this piece pays homage to Christopher Ward? I want to get the CW C60 Elite 1000 Blue with the hint of Orange accent but the days or all the years I once could afford what at one time Id have considered to be a low tier entry grade priced Swiss Diver, those days are now a memory that at times frustrates me but none the less, I still enjoy the hobby with a passion but now just on a much much lower far less expensive scale. Wanted to get your thoughts before I either let one of the Pagani dealers know or request to review it and if not in their inventory they sell then before I bought it. It appears to pay homage to CW and a bit to Seiko. If you have a free moment, would love to know your thoughts on the Blue version with the slender style markers as the version with thicker ones appears much more to pay homage to the Seiko 62 and 63mas?? Yes, one could call it a homage to either due to the similarities. The other dial version is clearly an homage to the 62MAS, one can see the dial design has been copied. Regards, #WR4K

I have to think they are constantly messaged in regard to the review of their fine time pieces. My nearly 20 years of true high end divers I owned and collected over my years from just about all who had really good looking divers 10k and below I have most likely owned and lots of the same exact piece two or three times as Id buy then sell then regret then hunt one down again lol.. It was utter insanity looking back but it was a insane blast! :) So my knowledge and experience is there that would offer validity to my email but my channel size just isnt strong enough to be given the opportunity which is why I have not emailed them. Their pieces appear to be incredibly well refined that gives them a unique and rather distinct type look which presents differently than others with some that sell much higher and are worth more in value. @@TheDiveWatcher Christopher Ward use a marketing agency called Ideas Network. They administer the loaning of review pieces. Typically a watch channel needs to have 10K+ subscribers to be of interest to them. I have reviewed 9 pieces from them. I started my channel February 2020, and they started loaning me pieces June 2020 as my channel was 20K subscribers at that stage. This was at a time when many brands ignored my emails requesting pieces for review, or replied saying no. Unfortunately I won't be reviewing any more of their watches, as now I am only making "Included Paid Promotion" content. Christopher Ward used to loan me pieces for review, rather than gifting me watches; or paying me a fee, as other brands do. Therefore I have made a decision to only work with brands, or dealers; that provide a revenue stream for my channel. The monthly Google AdSense revenue my channel generates is negligible. I monetised my channel with AdSense within 28 days of starting it. However even with 1.87M total views to my 174 videos, the AdSense revenue is small. My main revenue comes from brand payments, or the proceeds of sales of gifted watches. There are now hundreds of watch channels, with new ones starting constantly. Brands are constantly emailed by watch channels requesting pieces for review. Naturally they favour the larger channels down to a cut off point which varies depending on the brand. For example it makes more sense to loan a piece to a 100K subscriber channel, than a 10K subscriber channel, as the larger channels content will reach more of their target customers. When I started my channel I used to buy watches from Amazon, and AliExpress using my own funds. My channel then grew, and AliExpress resellers, and brands, began to offer me gifted watches, and loaned watches for review. So my channel went from being loss making, to breaking even, to profit making. I still review low-tier watches from AliExpress; but fortunately I am now loaned high-tier pieces such as; Rolex, Tudor, and Omega, etc. It has been a lot of work creating 174 videos in 20 months; but the difference is now brands, and dealer email me offering watches; rather than me having to email them asking for them. Thank you for watching. I think you mean 6.69" wrist size. The 42mm case really suits a 7-8" wrist size best. I think it would be uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time (8-12 hours per day) for collectors with a 6-7" wrist; as it is a top heavy piece. A better option is the PD-1661 on rubber strap (see my latest review). This is a better fit for a 6-7" wrist as it has a 40mm case. More comfortable to wear on a rubber strap as it doesn't feel top heavy at 100 grams (50 grams lighter than the Oyster bracelet version). Regards.
