3:43 give that man a cookie just for the tone on that high note. Then give him the rest of the cookies in the world.

Jaw-droppingly amazing. Paganini is known to be neigh impossible to play on a violin. But on a cello? And the best thing: it does not become simple achievement. It remains music. Wonderful, how you handle my instrument.

16 years later, I get the chills listening to this as I did when I was a wee lil 9 year old. This man dropped the hardest cello vids of all time and disappeared. I stg he will have the greatest comeback in history if he ever drops another vid.

You compensate for the lack of the E string well. I love how you go right past the fingerboard, very cool. Also, you are very talented at left-hand staccato, I wish I could do that. I used to play the cello, not anymore, high school is making me temporarily quit. I'll probably take it back up afterwards though, somewhat thanks to you.

Awesome job! I used to play to cello for a bit, than just stopped. A piece of me wishes i kept playing it. It is a cool instrument but i choose to play guitar seeing as that it interested me more. However, i still have a lot of respect for anyone that can play other instruments and you did a great job.

for example if you're holding down a B on the A string with the first finger, as well as holding down third finger (C#), then when you take your third finger off, pull it sideways while holding down your first finger, like your third finger is plucking the string as it leaves, making the B sound bc your first finger is still on the string.
@beepbeep73587 жыл бұрын
Seems 10 times harder on a cello
@prognepanda61894 жыл бұрын
It is, bc of the space between notes. For instance let’s say that in a violin you play 4 different notes with your 4 fingers but in a cello if you’re in the first position in D string, you play 3 notes with your 4 fingers bc the 3rd finger is an F#. So the bigger the instrument, the harder it is to play a fast piece bc you need to change position more frequently. So as it is harder to play in a cello, it’s even harder to play in a bass this same piece. Sorry for my English, I tried to explain it the best way even thou English isn’t my mother language.
