Oh my goodness those two colors are gorgeous! I’ve always love purples and lime greens together. Thanks for reminding to get my vellum out and use it more. Simply beautiful Miss E. Really liked the beautiful papers and another beautiful creation. I’ve got my roommate saving all his junk mail envelopes now too lol. Love how junk can turn into something great. Absolutely love the story about grand daughter too. Thank you for all you do.

Love this page and your story. Children need to learn that there are consequences when they choose to break the rules. I say a big hoorah to her dad for his follow through. He did great !!!!

Love watching your videos and working right along with you. This was fun. I used a eyelet, Juno rings and a ring but if chain. It was all I had. Worked well.

Make a B&W copy of envelope and cut out the window and use that as a pattern. Beautiful papers.

Another beautiful folder, love the family stories. My grandchildren have done the same thing with their games and had to pay their dad back as well; it’s a very good lesson for them to learn. Ms. 'E' ... I've used a strip of Tear tape along the tearing edge of my ruler ... and stck on my jeans a couple of times to take some of the sticky off and it holds the papers down nicely for a straight tear. I peel it off when it no longer sticks and add a new piece.

Love this tutorial, E. I definitely agree with your son (in law) , children need to learn values and also that a no means no. Matthew 5: 37. It’s not being mean, it teaches them valuable principles they can use themselves as they get older. 😀

While I get to craft almost every day since I'm retired, I take one day a week and call it "all day crafting" day. That was today! I made lots of tags and pockets. I love that bearly glue, by the way.

Do you have a contest of some sort so I can get a basics kit like different kinds of paper, trimmer, ink dawber,corner clipper etc. I just started doing this and I really like it. You're a very good teacher. I'm trying to get some lace for my journals .

you may find the bling at Michaels for they owned the company who sold that i got mine from them i bought a bunch of it . and yes they went out during the pandemic last year i was so disappointed.

How can you get papper cheep if you have no fancy printer in UK I found it for eight pounds it the vintage kind but I needed things with so I can follow you how I made it I done a sympathy card this week and every ones liked it so I thank you for all your tips your work is just amazing I can't wait to by some craft things from you x .UK fan

I use different weights depending on what I am going to do with it. I use regular copy paper if I know I am going to glue it to something and I use 120 lb copy paper if I am going to cut the image out or use it as a tag etc.

I use my envelope opener. The ones I use are the ones that are inside the junk mail. They are not sealed.

I am new to watching you and I am new to Journaling... I don't understand the terminology. What is stitching and signatures?

A signature is just a group of pages you pull together and see them into your journal cover. Just like in a novel. There are usually many groups of signatures in a novel.

The window: tracing paper....make a pattern, then you could mark it out and tear it out too.

The silk ribbon you're using that you're calling sari silk would be from Indian saris. Japanese women don't wear saris. Their traditional clothing is called kimono.
