I live in Seattle and I was paying $1800 for a 1 bedroom very small apartment in a rough area. I decided to move 30 minutes outside of Seattle and rent a 3 bedroom house with a huge yard and I’m only paying $1595 for it. There’s definitely perks with moving. I hope you enjoy your new place!

WaterMania used to be the low rent waterpark but my neighbor was the head lifeguard so we always got in free! many sunburns there!

Do not move west of Disney. The traffic jams are horrible. Orlando nick name is the city beautiful and around Michigan ave and Orange ave is great.

Good luck to you and Gracie in your new apartment I'm so glad that you did a video on the prices of living in the area. I do hope that people can now understand what it's like for cast members that live in the area and are having issues with the pay within the Disney parks. I hope this does bring a light on to everything. The rents have increased significantly in home rentals and apartment rentals over the last couple of years especially in the Disney bubble. I live over in the Tampa area and the rents have increased significantly over here to the point of being very close to the prices in the Northeast.

I just LOVE these apartment video's! I actually like when you do something different. Everyone's rent is going up and they charge for everything. If your location is good than you made out well on this move. Location is everything. Your apartment looks brand new or refurbished and very large. It was very sweet of you to invite us into your world. You most definitely made the right decision!! Always follow your gut and try not to second guess decisions. Nate my 10 yr dream is to move near Disney World. This video was so perfect! Thank you for going over what some of the fees you pay for. And the sizes vs price. Those are huge things to always consider because you want the best bang for your buck. I can't wait to see your new place decorated with all your pictures! CONGRATS on your new place!

Don't overlook renting a small house as well; my friends were living in an apartment. Their rent got raised so high that they looked into renting a house. Now, this is NOT next to Disney World so you can't compare; but they found out renting this house turned out to be cheaper than their apartment.

Money wise, this sounds like a good choice. Hopefully traffic to and from the Parks works out for you. You should have an apartment warming party when ready and invite all the O-Town/Disney vloggers like Adam The Woo, Jackie, etc for a big crossover event. I think viewers enjoy the SuperFriends Crossovers and being exposed to different Vloggers.

Prices are going crazy in Florida. I live in South Fort Myers, and I find that prices are right on par with what you are saying. It's not really the best time to buy due to the rise in interest rates. I don't blame you for moving, change can be good. This must be confusing for Gracie, but she will be fine.
