Schools need to lose their federal funding whenever they allow another country’s flag to fly on their campuses and any students who chanted they hate America need to lose their federal student aid since they hate this country. I first learned about these paid protesters when I was visiting my son who was attending school in the SF Bay Area. I wouldn’t have believed it but my son told me and said it like it was common knowledge. When I exclaimed wtf he was shocked and he began explaining that was just something that people did for money instead of selling blood or whatever. That was over a decade ago. So evidently that’s what goes on around these universities. They recruit students and other young people who are in need of fast cash and don’t want to work for it. Parents need to go visit their kids that they’re supporting to attend school around the country and stay for at least three or four weeks not just a weekend or so. They need to actually see what’s happening in the areas and how these young people get extra money when they’re in a tight spot financially. I was able to see how a bunch of good kids lose their way over a few bucks. I was able to get to know the young people my son had become friends with and help them stay away from those evils. They’re all grown now and I’m proud to call them friends of the family and they all speak highly of me and when I spent time with them. Cherished memories

Yea I didn’t like that either, that stood out to me. The initial call out was understandable so that it’s not done again for the sake of podcast/video quality but he needed to get right back into what he was saying instead of pushing on the issue and belittling Adam. Very trivial. I get that these thought-provoking discussions get heated and so Pat’s energy might have been elevated so he responded to something small and unimportant the same way he was responding to the topic, but it was poor decorum for him to press Adam about it. Wasn’t necessary. I didn’t even notice until Pat called him out. The show could’ve done without that 🤷🏽‍♀️. Hope he caught himself and how he may come off to his audience here.

We’ve seen this coming going back to NC and the sheriff complaining that 70% of the arrests at those riots were out of town people. Now we need to watch what happens to all the people that point the agitators out. Will they be silenced or will they have a lawsuit against them?

for those too young to know, on May 4, 1970 , 4 kids were killed by the National Guard during a protest at Kent State University in Ohio. I later )1976) attended grad school there and got the inside story. There was still tension and grief on campus even then. The National Guard was a bunch of amateur part time soldiers who were exhausted from running around - and in their exhaustion, somebody in the crowd yelled 'FIRE!" = and they did. That culminated a week of violent demonstrations including the firebombing of a campus building. There were good people on both sides. And many of the agitators were professionals who traveled the country inciting violence.

He's like clearing his facial sinuses etc. If you listen closely you can hear whatever he is clearing right into the mic. I woukd imagine PBDs headphones picked it up and he was like wtf. If he were a guest or someone that doesn't know podcasts it would be understandable mistake but he's constantly making body function noises when other people are talking.
