Great information, hidden-tidbit in here is your mental ability to not self destruct, work through it, adapt over come and win! So much can be learned and appreciated, given the fact it not only happens to us but world class archers too!

Just a note to say I really enjoyed your being an announcer in the Day 1 2024 Las Vegas shoot. I'm pretty sure you have a job after you retire from active competition.

Hi Paige! Did you level the bow to take out your left bias while at draw, or in a bow vise with all the other axis level? I'm new enough that I just want to know the bow is level, and fix me. Such dynamic systems these bows, it's hard time know what element is off.

I have a whole video in here that’s called like how to level your sight. Go watch that. I level second with a hamskea I’m just holding the sight. I level 3rd with the hamskea while I’m at full draw so it’s taking in all my bodies torque and stuff. Leveling with a vice sounds good on paper but using the hamskea at full draw is the only way to know the bow is actually level when you are the one shooting it. And then this was just about 1st axis. That I don’t level technically at all you don’t have to. As long as your 2nd is level you can move the 1st wherever you want. So I move the 1st till my bubble is comfortably in the middle when I’m shooting level. But watch the other video is covers all this in detail.

So just to be sure of what you did. You adjusted your 1st axis to your draw rather than to the bow sitting plumb and level. Is that correct?
@PaigePearceinsight4 ай бұрын
Yes correct! I have a sight leveling video on here that will show and demonstrate why that is okay. And another talking about how I get my bow to aim ignoring the bubble then move the 1st till the bubble is in the middle. But you just have to make sure you level your 2nd axis first. So start by leveling the 2nd, and once that’s good you can crank the first wherever is comfortable and you’ll be good to go! :)

I don't remember how you run your stabilizers , having the same issue here for weeks. I run a left backhand stab. Isn't it easier to pull that stab a bit left to correct it or you just go with the sight?

Paige do you know what caused your first axis to go off?
@PaigePearceinsight4 ай бұрын
Yes! I was testing a prototype product and it broke right before the tournament. Which sucked yes, but also good because now we can make the final one better! But because that happened I had to change my set up real quick and basically start from scratch on aiming. And it was right before we had to compete. So with the new set up when I quickly got it aiming, my first axis needed to be moved to be correct with that stabilizer configuration. So that’s what I had to fix after my round. So I’ll be running normal stuff till the next round of the prototype thing comes 🤪

@@PaigePearceinsight Thank you for this information. I'm always learning new things watching your videos. ✌️

Maybe you meant the second axis? The first axis is not clear how it is regulated, I just screwed the sight on and nothing can be done.
@jwild53604 ай бұрын
Why not just shoot that round with the bubble 1/8th bubble out or 1/4 bubble out? For a known specific distance it shouldn’t matter where the bubble is at as long as it’s there everytime u release the arrow. Correct? I’m assuming that Your not moving the elevation bar obviously

I hate leveling the sight, every time I get to 3rd axis and then check everything back its off again at 1st. Never ending loop of trying to get it perfect.
@PaigePearceinsight4 ай бұрын
2nd and 3rd are really important and should be done with a level. But 1st can be moved to whatever is comfortable to you as long as the second is correct! That should make the process a little easier for you :) for more info on that check out the sight leveling video on here. It’s old and I was new to making videos but still a lot of good info!
