I loved that bit when Pein decides to find Naruto in Konoha and he needed to get through the barrier. He tossed the summoning path in and summon the rest of the bodies. Then the Konoha people wondered how 1 person could do so much damage so fast.

@@ssheeessh Personally I preferred the Chunnin exam tournament but then all of part 1 was good. Garra and Lee had the best fights. I loved Naruto's talk no jutsu on Garra as it felt organic and I could see how it would effect Garra going forward.

Maybe Sasuke though about that very problem and made his own paths or Paths so if he did loose his eye he could go find a path storage and plug an eye from one..honestly be shocked if he didn't as Uchiha clan was known to pluck eyes and trade them like Pokémon

@@NicholasJScott you can't stay eyes from the paths though, otherwise madara wouldn't have needed obito in the end with all the jinchuriki running around. Also the rinnegan and boruto are the only ones who can teleport them back to the village. Maybe he uses izanagi and trades his mangekyo for a rinnegan though? Either way he's hella nerfed now though rip

Pain saw the cycle. He knew he had to stop the wheel, but he was so ingrained in the cycle himself that he could find no way to accomplish that goal without first feeding into the cycle himself. Nagato, his story, and his journey down the path of Pain is one of my favorites in the series.

It's the paradox of war, using violence to end violence. Naruto didn't offer an answer to pain question even at the end of the series he doesn't really solve the issue. Ironically madara and obito were the threat needed to unite the shinobi nations

Naruto actually wasn't the one to kill Kakuzu. Kakuzu was still barely alive when we was hit with the Rasen-shuriken and Kakashi actually goes up to him and kills him while he's on the ground.

The Asura path seeming like advanced tech as an ancient technique makes SO much more sense in the context of Kaguya, who's basically an alien, influencing earlier humanity.

@@seanmiller4170 Orochimaru is still researching and acquiring further knowledge, so his main goal from the very beginning hasn't even changed. He's still alive thanks to Naruto's leniency and he's not dumb enough to truly mess with Naruto or Sasuke.

The rinnegan apparently takes a lot of chakra to use even if he only uses one path. Nagato could repeatedly use it since the Uzamaki clan have a shit ton of chakra.

The fact that Pain wasn't the final villain is pretty sad to me. Narratively, he was a pretty good foil to Naruto, especially considering his connection to Jiraiya. Plus, the dude just *looked* like the final boss, and had both the presence and the skills to back it up.

Yeah u are right but the problem is, if pain was the final villain the speech between him and Naruto were lame. The final villain has to lose in a fight and not in a speech. That is in my opinion the only negative point of the idea, that pain is the final enemy

@@Ebola-Kun Pain has the better philosophy but Meruem has character growth Pain cant live up to. If anything I think my favorite villain in all of shonen is Kimbley from FMA. Hes a neutral character but works for the villains of the story, and he helps them enact their plan simply to watch how the world changes. Its both an amazing motivation and super sinister, but also relatable since we are the watchers. Its also amazing how philosophical he is and how willing he is to test people's resolve by fighting them throughout the story. Overall one of the most interesting villains to watch

@@nydra9912 If Orochimaru would have killed Nagato back in the war, then Nagato would have never received the Rinnegan and he would have not summoned the Gedo statue nor formed the bijuu hunting akatsuki we had in shippuuden. And you could argue that it's not that easy to gather many strong shinobi to hunt people with magic animal power. And the resurrection of Madara without the tailed beasts would have been pointless since he would be blind, have no army and wouldn't be able to summon the juubi.

I can imagine the guilt Nagato felt while listening to Naruto read Jiraya's words! To me Nagato always was a quitr kid who loved his family and friends, once he lost his family he survived due to his friends and once he lost his dearest friend he just lost his sanity and was manipulated by Tobi. When Naruto read the words Jiraya once worte wrote! Pretty sure Nagato wanted to just die at that point.

The soundtrack that plays when Jiraya dies is one of the best OSTs in the show, and it's usually reserved for big emotional climaxes. Off the top of my head, it also plays when Naruto actually talk-no-jutsus Nagato (fittingly) and also at the very end of the show when Sasuke and Naruto have their final fight, during an emotional epiphany Sasuke has.

Actually, pretty sure Kakashi killed Kakuzu. Naruto beat him, but Kakashi dealt the death blow, iirc. So yeah. Canonically, Naruto hasn't killed anyone.

I think the reason the Pain fight is so good and also feels like the best part of Naruto it's because, essentially, Naruto conquers everything he set out to have in that fight. He saves the village, he attains enough power to protect everyone else, the whole city knows who he is because of him defeating Pain and getting things back the way they were. He is ready to be a Hokage after this fight. All he needs is get Sasuke back and maybe finish Tobi and Kabuto. And like, I'm not saying we couldn't have another arc or a sequel series with the loose ends. I'm just saying that the war that comes after this stretched Naruto way beyond what it should've been. So much it lost what it was meant to be in the first place. The Pain fight is the last time jutsus makes sense and powers, despite being really big and flashy, still seem possible. After that, things just go downhill. Honestly, I think Naruto and Sasuke could've fought after this and we would still get a good fight (because we have no idea about ALL Orochimaru taught Sasuke) and the Sharingan is still a really powerful ability to have. So we could easily have Sasuke whip out some cool stuff with his doujutsu, while Naruto tries to apply his sage mode, and since Tobi and Kabuto are still alive, they could easily be the villains of a sequel series or something. We didn't need the war arc.

You forgot 1 part of the Jiraya vs Pain fight. When he gets blown out into the water and finally see's all 6 of them he then enters the water and takes the animal path with him, kills him again then he goes back to face the other's for the last time.

Please do Orochimaru as well; though his time in the akatsuki was small it would be super interesting, and also make for an easy segue into the three legendary Sannin. Also huge fan!!! I love this Naruto content your doing as well, you're such an entertainer!!!!
