Typically Achilles tear victims feel as though they've been kicked in their calves, you can see that's what happened to Shaq since he turns around to see who kicked him after the tear.

No one was behind me. Luckily it didnt tear. It was pulled. No basketball for about a month, MRI and LOTS OF STRETCHING

​@@agentbrandtShaq wasn't slow in Orlando, he could run the court like Giannis. His rarest asset was his speed and agility at that size. You're talking about later Shaq when he got too big, which didn't hurt his game because in the early 2000s the game got really slow.

He had a long career and the wear and tear caught up to him. I always thought maybe he should have tried to lose weight as his career progressed like Dirk and Duncan maybe that could have lessened the impact on his body.

Instead, he started becoming a journeyman clown in what should have been an illustrious end to his career. Instead, he's riding Boston's bench because he couldn't take care of his body.
