I hope you finished painting your piece. Your first piece is a must keep and don’t redo. As they say practice makes perfect. I have been painting ceramic for many years. Looking back at my first pieces I see how much I have learned. I find painting takes me away from the everyday life issues, my family has learned not to talk to me cause “I’m in the zone”. Very therapeutic for me but at first yes overwhelming but keep trying it will all kick in and you will be proud of yourself.
