Have you ever heard of Cat Mint? I'm not sure what the cats think of it but Bees LOVE it. In this tutorial I show you how to paint beautiful seasonal watercolour flowers in my new botanical style as well as a great guide to paint bees.

You will also need kitchen roll, a pencil, eraser
Colours we used
Paynes Grey
Imperial Purple
Cobalt Blue Deep
Permanent Rose
Cobalt Turquoise
Sap Green
Green Gold
Alizarin Crimson
Don't worry if you don't have all these colours, you can look at my colour chart episode (bit.ly/30r7stq) to learn how to mix your own shades from a simple 12 pan student range palette.

I particularly loved this one Harriet! My bees are wonky, so lots of work on those needed. I am just waiting for delivery of the Year in Watercolour. I bought the Botanical one in an E book, but I think I need this one in a hard copy!

Loved this, so easy to follow, step by step. I treated myself to the Botanical Watercolours book, it’s fabulous. Can I just ask, Harriet, where do you get your buff titanium from, please? I can find it only in acrylic 😊

Love this. You should get pro art to make these brushes in travel format for you to ambassador. I’m getting used to your brushes so much so that now I want to use them exclusively but don’t want to mess up the bristles as I brave trying plein air. If they were in a travel brush where you remove the end and recap when done, that would be awesome!

@@deWintonPaperCo I hope they say yes. I’ve looked at all the online art supplies and none have small travel brushes below a 2. I bet you would have a great following on this! Imagine a 4/0 and 2/0 and 0 and so on in a travel pouch! 🥰
