Hi Hayley. You certainly put the work in, which gave you great results. Perhaps food colouring would work, and be more environmentally friendly when pouring the waste down the sink. I also wonder whether medicinal alcohol or methylated spirits would give some interesting results. Thanks for the great video, looking forward to trying this.

Hi David. I like your line of thinking - always worth trying! I actually teach a method using food colouring in my Photo Fun Addicts course but I find it spreads out a lot more. It's still cool - a bit like marbling - but a different effect. Have fun experimenting!

Could you kindly explain your process for disposing of the paint, oil, and milk that remained in the scrap bucket after you completed your project? It's important to handle these substances properly, and I'm curious to learn how you safely managed their disposal, as pouring them down the sink is generally not recommended.

Thanks for asking. This concerned me too. I poured some sand from my sandbags into the container, sealed it up and sent it to the tip. But if there's a better way I'd like to know it. I've been meaning to ask my painter friends what they do, so thanks for the reminder. This is why I prefer to make art in Photoshop - far less mess!
