Growing up, I remember a large oak tree like this in a beautiful field. A subdivision now stands in its place but I sure miss that tree. Thanks for the memories. 😢

Ходил по молодости в дубовый лес, тоже зарисовать. Особенно хорошо там ранней весной, сколько же там тогда жуков -рогачей находилось! Все дубы были ими заняты. Дерево у вас написано замечательно! Для эффекта можно было рядом поместить ещё небольшое -два брата!

Excellent. That's exactly how I do it. Working with acrylics makes for much greater effect than with oils or watercolor.
