Painting a simple Watercolor landscape / Watercolor tutorial / Landscape painting

Let's paint a simple summer landscape in watercolors. In this beginner friendly tutorial I share the step by step drawing and painting process for painting this watercolor landscape. I share how to paint tree, bushes and water in a few simple steps in a more stylised way and share some tips and tricks that I think is useful for any beginner artist.
Supplies:
Sketchbook: Watercolor book from Hahnemühle, 100% cotton, fine grain, 250 gsm thick (there is another one from same brand but NONE cotton. I’m using the cotton one which has higher quality, so pay attention to that when you are buying one).
Synthetic round brushes from Winsor & Newton Cottman, size 4 and a smaller one for details (my smaller brush is from a Swedish local brand nut doesn’t really matter)
For paints I buy them individually in tubes and pour them into empty cups that I buy from Amazon and make my own pallets.

May green from Schmincke
Green gold from Daniel Smith
Indigo from Daniel Smith
Turquoise blue from Rembrandt (for sky)
Brown iron oxide from Daniel Smith
Prussian blue from Daniel Smith

Your painting is incredible. I really appreciate how you walk through the steps slowly but I also think there is skill involved hehe. To get this good I will need to practice more. Still, what a beautiful painting, thank you for your wonderful art!

Just updated the description with more details on the supplies 🤗♥️ yes It’s 100% cotton, cold pressed Watercolor book from Hahnemühle (250gsm). I promise it’s just practice and learning the right techniques. My father was also an artist so I was lucky to learn early but also much practice. Painting became like a habit for me and although I have a full time day job in design, I can’t live without painting 😅♥️♥️ thank you again
