Something that my uncle showed me years ago. You take a rattle can. Put it upside down. Place a brick on it for 30 to 45 minutes. Make sure the pressure is down. Take a can opener, bottom side up. Open the can. Paint ready to spray.

Once you paint it and put the door sliding back on, what kind of grease will you put in the rails so it slides nice?

I’m used marine trailer bearing grease. It doesn’t hold moisture. It the stuff they use in boat trailers.
