A game I play has this painting as a poster, though I believe it's retitled "dayhawks"!! Love Hopper's work, just found out we share a birthday as well!

This was great. I love this Hopper painting. I couldn't breathe for laughing so hard at your noir tale at the end; I could listen to that for hours. A podcast episode with you telling a story about each painting and its subjects would be perhaps too much for me to dream.

I love how the colours turned out, I'd rather have this on my wall then the original! Well not really, but if yours was the one that was worth over 100m pounds then yes, that one. If I wasn't absolutely broke I would buy this.

That is a great tip. I like letting the acrylic dry on there and then peeling it off in a massive lump after about ten paintings.

There's a word in finnish for an artistic-movement that loosely translates as hate-realism or disgust-realism. Maybe that would be a good fit for your style? Your art doesn't have the usual guts and blood of actual disgust-realism but I think they're there in spirit.
