Possibly the rarest model kit I own, gets built and painted in this episode. Inspired by the cover of Issue 1 Epic 40,000 magazine from the year 2000.
This model is the "Warmonger Titan". An upgrade kit that was supplied by Fanatic via Mail Order.

Such an iconic design! On the one hand, they're ludicrous. I can imagine how uncomfortable it would be standing atop one of those behemoths: each step would be like an earthquake! But on the other hand, they're just sooo 40K! Got a big gun? Well, here's a bigger one!

Sometimes I miss Fanatic and all of the related 'Specialist Games' support - it felt like your own personal interaction with Games Workshop but I don't miss some of the inherent snobbery of suggesting a niche game is special. Videos like yours definitely invite the wider hobby world into learning about Epic. Keep up the great work!

My upgrade kit arrived today. Once I have the air brush kit I’ll begin my warmonger. Fingers crossed they bring a new imperator for the new variation of epic

So cool man this a dream model for me to find, all the new stuff is cool but this old stuff that reminds me of my childhood has so much more character and charisma in my opinion. I have quite the collection of old epic titans and knights brand new still in the original blister packs and plastic wrapping I’m gearing up to be painted! Thank you for sharing this lovely gem

If you're looking for a great non-blue metallic from Vallejo - I can swear by their Exhaust Manifold colour. Really beautiful for most applications. Just grungey/dark enough.

I had to make the exact same turrets using the same thermoplastic recently! For some reason I decided to repair and repaint my "legion" (2xWH,1xWL 1xR and 1xImp.) from ultra marine blue (11year old me loved the sons of ultramar),to the colours of legio Ignatum.

Regarding the Blue Stuff: check out some of the Japanese and Korean scale modeling channels on how they use it. They get a lot out of it.

Im sure youre probably aware Vincent, but BattleBling here in good ol' Blighty did a very short run of made to order "Warbreaker" Titans for use in AT (and I dare say Epic) - you can see Tabletop Standard having a look at one here : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eZOAg6h219vcdYE.html. Allegedly there will be more for order this year... if you want that real "scale" that you see in artwork featuring the Imperator :)

That looks awesome. Kind of reminds me of Brighton Pavilion! Love it. I have a crazy STL for an Imperator that I may try and get printed. Would be a lot of work though. I mainly stick to official stuff generally though.

I still have an Imperator Titan that is 99% on sprue. The 1 piece that fell off of the sprue I have so still have it complete ^_^ I have another one I was painting another one with a couple of missing bits (the little corner towers)

@@BUNKER6 yup, super expensive tho. If I ever find the one I was doing I'll see about finishing it at some point but not going to touch the one on sprue. Also have a nice collection of rogue trader models

You may have some luck in a Facebook group for the parts. That’s how I got mine. I love the vintage stuff too!

@@BUNKER6 best stuff I have I would say = 4 x LE2 Imperial Space Marines, 9 x Cobra Terminators and 2 variant C ones and probably all 6 of the original techmarines. Just found 2 2nd Ed Hive Tyrants, 2 Screamer Killers and the Chaos Toilet. I also just got my hands on female warrior gabbs

Ah yes... Such an iconic titan. Just too bad it was so hard to get hold of, even back then. Never got one myself... 😞 Man... I SO want them to do an Imperator class titan for Titanicus. How sweet would it be? Incidentally, just before Christmas I stumbled upon the book Imperator by Gav Thorpe in my local hobby store. Certainly not the best book I've read - just about average quality for Black Library, I would say (which isn't saying much, I'll admit) - but a fitting companion for this video, I think.

Thanks for the comment Carl! An Imperator in the new AT style would be amazing. You might be able to request a kit the some of the FB groups for epic etc. I got mine pretty cheap.
