thank you so much for your interrest! I just used a pencil with very soft graphite, so alot of it gets to the paper when drawing. When I have made my motive, I place it with the graphite lines towards the candle and I just use a soft eraser to rub while I keep the paper very stretched and still (Here is where I use tape) on the candle. It does not get very strong lines but it is just enough. Sometimes when the candle has a very hard vax surface, it might help to heat the motive and candle ever so gentle with fex hairdryer, but be very careful with the heat. You just want to heat the candle surface, not melt it, so you have to be very careful to not have too strong heat (lowest heat setting) and move the airflow around so it does not start melting too much. If you make the vax just ever so gentle heat up and almost melt a bit, the lines might "bite" itself better to the surface!

It would be a very good idea to seal it as it will flake off or stick to other things, as I do not burn these candles that I paint with acryllic paint I just use clear varnish, but modpodge is a very good sollution here :) Any other sealent will do really, even clear nailpolish! Ofc if you aim to actually burn the candles, I would aim for paint designed for candles and maybe seal it with clear/white candlewax.

I just used regular baking paper as it is so "see-through" you know, but really any paper will do as long as you use a fairly soft crayon so it "bleeds over" :) Thank you for watching!

Just regular hobby paint :D

I am using just regular hobby paint. I only use these spesific candles for pure decoration as I am not sure if it is safe to burn the paint or not, so I would recommend to stay on the safe side if you use just regular hobby paint like this.

No I do not, but you can of course seal with some thin layer of wax. That would seal the color, but also make the colors less bright. Also you can use clear coating or nail polish, but then you should not burn the candle at all.

It works for me, but because I am using acryllic paint I only use these candles for pure decoration just to make sure there is no fumes that is unhealthy. I never burn these unless I have bought proper candle colors.

I think they are, but just to be very certain I do not burn my decorated candles at all, I keep them purely for decoration myself :)

Hej! Märket på färgen är Sense från Dollarstore, vanlig akrylfärg så jag skulle inte kalla det värmetålig färg utan man får vakta ljusen om man vill elda de. Jag målar och har ljusen endast som dekor själv bara för att vara helt säker. Finns gott om färg som är gjord för att användas på ljus så man kan elda de säkert, men man skall ju alltid vara i rummet med tänd ljus ändå :)

I am just using regular acryllic paint, but I dont burn these candles, they are kept unburned for decoration only (just to stay 150% safe) and I always add a note to them when I give as a gift to for safety not burn them. I have considered to buy paint that is safe to paint on candles and also burn but haven't gotten around to do that yet :)
