I think the sea life cup is such an encouragement to having an art life. A few of you in the art KZfaq community have been inspiring me to get back into making my own art over the last few years...and you know what the biggest lesson is that I've learned? We get discouraged and give up too soon. You draw, paint, make something, and it looks 'terrible' so you set it aside or trash it. When really? If you just keep refining, adjusting, adding, changing media...alot of times the best art is on the other side of that wall we create for ourselves, I guess is what I'm saying. PS- your folk art pieces are always my favorite. ❤️

Ok that ocean one is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL. That jellyfish? Amazing. The turtle? Cute as everything. I love the Starbucks logo on the second one, it looks like a mermaidy princess or something. It's my favorite bit of the second cup.

Oh my goodness that sea themed cup might be my favorite one in this series yet, like of all time! The testicle trail of the jellyfish is my favorite part, and the colors just POP. Makes me want to draw sea creatures now, they make me so happy! Also you make drawing on a cylindrical object look easy.

Allergy season has been awful in the Houston area this year. I’ve been struggling for weeks. I’ve also been teaching sea creatures and ocean setting for several weeks for a mixed media collage project in my art classes this semester. The kids are loving it.

Thank you for talking about when things don’t go as planned. I was an artist, I was into all kinds of art and I am a perfectionist and I got so sick of all of my art being bad or having small issues with it, so one day I stopped. That was two years ago. I miss art, I miss drawing, but I just don’t know how to start again because I hated everything I made, I felt like it was all ugly and I was embarrassed because there were so many people better than me, and now that i haven’t practiced my skills aren’t what they were, and now everything I make will be extra ugly🤦🏻‍♀️So I just don’t know how to get back into it, your videos, along with Chloe rose’s videos have made me feel more inspired. Thank you for talking about mistakes in art and when things don’t go our way ❤

The cups look super! Making the blue background into a water scene worked great, so that's my favorite. Answers to Questions of the Day: 1. The last long trip we took was to Georgia to escape a hurricane (!) with a vehicle full of cats and dogs.... 😑 Our only vacations are day trips because we have animals and I don't want to leave them with anyone else. (Had a bad experience long ago). 2. Since I'm in Florida, my allergies start in January. This year we had 90 degree temps in Feb. & March!!! Lots of early blooming. And sneezing. And sweating.

My last travel was to Nags Head, NC for the family vacation last August. I got to take my baby brother to our mom’s favorite place for the first time! And my allergies aren’t bothering me yet, but the blooming dogwoods and cherry blossoms have triggered migraines for about two weeks straight.

I get so much inspiration from your videos! Even if I never do cups, all the design ideas and ways to create give me ideas! The ocean scene my favorite. Those roses were such a cute & easy way to paint them I was thinking on the blue ocean cup - if you used that ultramarine copic marker and did a second layer, it would have blended into the other blue, they were so close. But still do the ocean scene on top!

Last place I went to was Hawaii for my birthday. Stayed there for a month. Visited Maui and looked down into Haleakala volcano. It was beautiful. Even attended a laui on my birthday. Tasted my first Mai Tai, which got watered down a bit because it sprinkled all during the laui, which was good because I really didn't want to be drunk when I went back to my hotel. LOL I loved every minute of it. I thanked God since my drink did get watered down. I really don't drink that much and I really didn't want to get in an accident on my birthday since the roads were slick. But it was my birthday, so why not try my first Mat ti. 🙂. I enjoyed it. Next time though I'll go with a friend so they can see me safely to the hotel. 🙂

My allergies hate strong, but I love it. It’s my favorite season, watching everything come back to life. I got diagnosed with an ultra rare illness in 2018 and my infusions kill my immune system. The last place we traveled was to Ocean City, NJ in 2015. We were going to go back this year but my husband was laid off in January and he’s still looking for work, so that is off the table. But in the meantime I have my art and KZfaq, so it keeps me going.

Mira please please do an underwater scene on a big canvas. You never have and it would be amazing. That's the number one thing I paint is under water and I would love to see you. Please paint one

I saw a hack for alcohol markers when they dry out! You can add rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer to the nibs and get more color out of them. I don't use these kinds of markers so I haven't tried it, but it may work! At least until you get refills for things :]

Thought I’d share a cool fact: Whale shark’s spots are completely unique. Their spots are basically like their fingerprints. The whale sharks can be identified by scientists strictly by their unique spot pattern

Color in the mermaid 😃

The place I Travelled was "Back home" (Nova Scotia - Canada), about 4 or 5 years ago. My cat is shedding like crazy... I don't think I have noticeable allergy symptoms.... but it's hard to tell, Cuz all winter the air was so dry and I had trouble with my nose.... The last few days we've had Summer like temperatures (very hot)..... Anyway.... each cup is great, my favourite is the ocean one. I REALLY miss the beaches from back home.

The ocean themed cup is the prettiest. It´s so long time since I´ve been traveling anywhere. Does Savonlinna count? Lets say it does. And my allergies are getting so bad too. It´s been so hard to do workouts when my breathing is the way it is because of the dust in the air. Spring is beautiful, but nothing is perfect...

I almost bought those Arttx acrylic markers when you did that sponsored video for them. But I couldn't justify spending the money. It's not expensive!!! Don't get me wrong. We just don't have extra money. My husband begged me to get bc it was my bday and I ALMOST did but then backed out. It worked out good though because a few days later we were broke and only had the almost $30 I would have spent on that but because I didn't spend it, we had it and it got us the gas a food we needed for the next couple of days until I got my next paycheck.

My last trip was to Ireland 🍀 and I can’t wait to go back. My allergies haven’t seemed to kick in yet, but today is the first warm day we’ve had, so I’m sure they’re coming 😫

Last place I went was a car boot sale in Silloth, Carlisle, England it’s on the coast…we sold some household stuff and made £60..😊
